If I was David Bryan I'd **** my keyboards at Jon. The fella doesn't get to write for the band at all, has to watch on as John Shanks writes, doesn't get to sing and now has to watch as Bobby Bandiera sings.

Christ, I know the money is nice and it's a good job but talk about wasting talent.

20 years before jons idea of a special setlist was the one in hammersmith odeon in london with jimmy page, big rarities and a dazzling performance(i would kill for a pro shot video of that show)
and now...jons idea of a special night is this???
how come the guy who released blaze of glory, new jersey, these days ... record and release songs like i love this town and who says???and act like they are of the same quality???the guy made and album with jeff beck and had richie on his side and now thinks bobby should play lead???
when you are on the spotlight for so many years you cant always be on the top of your game and jon is really good into protecting himself but some times i really think he is delusional...
ps,i also find sad the fact he releases album after album and doesnt even perform half the songs...if you dont like them then dont put them in the disc...

All I can do at this point is shrug it off. I've really lost all hope for Jon as a leader. He's a great frontman on stage, but makes stupid decisions when it comes to touring. Glad I went to one show this tour, but also very glad I'm not going to any more.

I'm not buying anymore tickets for this band until I see some changes in Jons attitude and that awful main setlist. Hope Jon realises what a flop this tour has been and actually interacts more with the fans.

At the Foxboro show, he interacted with the fans and was actually quite good. The problem is, I was bored shitless with the setlist.

By interacting, I mean actually listen to what the long term fans want from a Bon Jovi show. Not just brush it off and say "we arent a nostalgia band". Yet last night he played songs that are much older than Bon Jovi back catalouge!

I went to Slane and Hyde park and he completely ignored all the fan requests and the fact HP was a fan club show, yet played a pretty much identical set to the one from 2 years before. Also, why go to the trouble of fitting a ramp for him to run round it for one song??

Is this tour on target to be the top 1 or 2 this year because if it is, then Jon will be boasting about what a success it's been.

I'm seriously confused about what's goin' through his head. If he did a show with a bunch of rarities that are his own songs, then it would get a great reaction here and amongst the fan base. You could justify that. What, in the name of God, was going through his head that made him think this was a good idea?

My guess is he knows the fans want to hear rarities, but the ones they want to hear, he can't sing anymore.

Is Jon on crack? WTF was that all about?

If I attended that show I would ask for a full refund and then some!

Think Jon's proving that he needs Richie more than Richie needs him.

One has nothing to do with the other. Jon still makes the decisions when Richie is there. This is 2 shows, Richie has been MIA for 4 months. Setlist complaints did not begin when Richie left.
