I really believe that it's neither. The chances that the Richie situation affected this decision in any way are slim to none.

I just read a fan's comment on another thread that said this doesn't have anything to do with the venue---they went to the same venue 2 years ago and played a full rock show.

I think this KOS thing was a whim of Jon's he did because it's something he wanted to do.

I actually like this idea especially in such a smaller venue. However, it should have been advertised as a special concert rather than a Bon Jovi BWC concert. The fans could have been excited about what would be the surprise rather than disappointed or mad at spending top dollar for a shorter concert with a lot of covers and extra players. And I do think it would have been wonderful to given David a song or two. I can see how the guys would have had a lot of fun with it but they needed to let the audience in on the concept.

This is Jon's final solution to end Bon Jovi as a rock band.

Richie saw this coming.

Just when you thought this tour couldn't get any weirder ...

Jon actually does seem to have lost his marbles. What madness has he got in store for the rest of the tour I wonder?

Perhaps the NJ shows will feature The Rat Pack Together Again? A night of swinging covers with Jon tux'd up.

It'll be marketed as Jon Bon Jovi & The Flaming Turds.
