Love how most have decided it was a crap show just by reading a setlist. Typical on here though

No one's saying is a crap show. Normally I'd be right there agreeing with you that the board is harsh on shows they aren't at. People aren't miffed they got a vanilla setlist, they're miffed they got the band doing cover songs. That's not what they paid for.

I have no idea if it was a crap show. What I do know is that if I paid money to see a Bon Jovi show and got one of Jon's solo charity gigs instead, I'd be pissed no matter what.

If people are going to complain, remember, Jon & company have been touring non stop since 2000. If Jon wants to do a show like this once every 600 shows, he should be allowed too. Funny how people on this board complain about the "vanilla" set lists & that when he doesn't mix it up like the "other" guy from New Jersey, but when he does, people complain about it not being a "traditional/formal" Bon Jovi show.
If he wanted to do a show like that? He does shows like that a lot, it's pretty much a carbon copy of a JBJ solo show. That's the problem. If Jon really wants to do something wild and wacky at a band show play the whole thing acoustic, do a full album, do a bunch of obscure cuts like they did at Mohegan in 2011. But to copy and paste a solo show setlist onto a full band gig is just lame.

I'm so confused as to why this even happened. Why this type of show all of a sudden?

I don't think I'd of liked this show at all. Too many covers and way too much of a Jon vibe in this show. At least play rare solo songs if you are going to do this type of shpw. I'd sooner have that than pointless cover songs.

Lol I got more better song selection at my actual JBJ and kings of suburbia show. They played just older when I went. I'm usually never negative about the band on here because there is plenty of enough people doing it for me, but I just feel bad for the people so excited to go to a show and got a cover band instead.

Amen
The Fighter
Not Running

all in one go. Ouch. I hate all 3 songs.

Strange setlist but looks kinda fun. Maybe too many covers though.

Baffled by this setlist. Wouldn't be happy if I was at the show - too many covers.

Dunno what Jon was thinking but I'm sure he'll be spinning it as him completely changing up the setlist. Had he done it to include band rarities then fair enough but not this.

A massive error of judgement.
