I was there and there was no encore. This was my 5th Bon Jovi concert and it was the most disappointing. I was so looking forward to seeing what Phil could do and was expecting the "usual" give it all concert. Jon was on auto pilot, Phil can play, but no interaction with Jon. I actually had tears falling during Wanted...no sense of the "brotherhood"...just Jon being the "star. I do believe what others have said, that this is the beginning of the end of Bon Jovi the group.

I think Jon has looked at these venues and treated them with disdain. We are used to him going on autopilot for smaller gigs, but this was something else. Obviously it begs the question why even do the gig if you hate the type of place and that it is a small place, the answer is the almighty dollar of course. I suspect we will see some better sets (well USA wise anyway) at some of the bigger venues.

Still though, sucks if you were there, although the one on the 22nd was by far the worst I have seen for years. A real slap in the face to the fans.

Not criticizing your post, you're not the first and you won't be the last to say Jon does this for the money. And sometimes it seems that way, but I wonder why he would do that. He's a millionaire many times over, the rest of the band are wealthy, too. So money can't be the only motivator. Although having said that, a friend and I joke about Jon's "pro football team fund" and how much fans are contributing to it.

Up until few moments ago I was blaming bad weather. However it appears the show was planned this way. Here is the full setlist, only LTOR was not played, so they planned 21 songs only, no encore.

People on BJ.com are complaining of a late start, and an early end, the screens appear to have stopped working.

It sounds like Jon was sulking because his night with the Clowns of Suburbia went down like a bad fart.

Apart from one or two extremely rare highlights (a couple of German shows and Milan) this tour has been terrible. Can't really think of any WOW moments at all and I don't think its because of Richie either.

The tour has reflected the new album. A few nice moments thrown in but mostly safe, uninspired and generic.

Whoever thinks these days Jon is still doing what he does, for the love of music is delusional. The pro football team fund is more like it, just wait and see...

Rubbish. JBJ was even going on about how great his setlists are in the Boston Globe the other day. I mean, does he not know fans follow the sets? Has he stopped caring?

Looks like he has. He viewed these 2 shows as throw away shows because they had to sell tickets for $200 so the fans should like and accept whatever they get.
