I didn't have big expectations for a show on a beach, so I was actually pleasantly surprised by the treats they tossed in for the diehards. Garageland, WITW (for the second time in 2 shows) and Never Say Goodbye made the show short and sweet . . . instead of just short! The other thing that made the show for me was the gorgeous sky as the sun was setting. Taking pics of Jon and Richie on the Circle with that sky in the background was a unique opportunity.

Regarding the crowd - the DC was absolutely packed, and most of the people in it were wearing the VIP lanyards. No other DC that I was in during the trip was anywhere near as crowded. It was impossible for people to move in and out of the DC without pushing, shoving and stepping on others. They clearly oversold the DC by a lot. Too bad they didn't sell the tickets to folks who knew the band's songs.

Low flying bird? LOL

Previously unheard-of amounts of confetti were released at this show. I'm STILL finding it in stuff.

Evidently David wasn't in on the joke . . . and didn't take it well!

Terri - those picture of Jon and Jon and Richie with the sky behind them are simply stunning, maybe it's because I remember how gorgeous that sunset was while watching the show.

And short and sweet sums it up - too short really but a few rarities thrown in to keep us diehards quiet.

Those shots of Richie with the sunset in front of him.. I bet he'd want them.

Wow, amazing pictures, thanks for sharing, love the pictures with the sunset, awesome.

Some people are only talking about the dead crowd, but I really enjoyed the encore WITW/NSG, it was an awesome performance, especially in these settings on the beach. Believe it or not but I've been waiting since 1993 to hear those two songs live. Nice to see that Jon was taking the request to play NSG, it was not on the paper setlist.

I had a wonderful day, no traffic jam before and after the concert, made 2nd row GC where I've met some beautiful dutch ladies, staring at the sunset, the sound of breaking waves at the background and seeing my favourite band performing at this beach, what more can a man ask for

Only thing regretting was not meeting the Sebstage gang, c u hopefully next tour Seb and friends.
