I'm sure Saturday Night was acoustic, because of its placement in the set.

Jon: "Hey, if we play Always every night then we don't have to do anything special or play more than 23 songs!"

There has be one of two reasons for what's going on.

1. Jon thinks the set works so brilliantly that he dare not change any songs.

2. They aren't enjoying themselves and just want to get by with the least effort possible until the tour ends.

I'm more than certain this is the case, since the set works and pleases 90% of the crowd. But is Jon THAT scared that he will let the crowd down if they play other songs?

I do think he is very aware of the lack of positive response rarities get in The U.S. I've never been to a show there but going by videos the crowd dies during lesser known tracks.

Just look at the first two shows of the tour, they played Roulette, Tokyo Road, Shot Through The Heart and Only Lonely. Then they vanished

I was there. Won't make any comments, as they're as boring as the set list.

I ****ing hate when people like you post bullshit comments like that. Just because you didnt get a good show in london, doesnt mean you have to say rediculous comments like that. Bon Jovi was on fire during the calgary show (despite his recent calf injury) and the two toronto shows were amazing. The Edmonton show was also really good. There could be a lot less effort put on and comments like that shows that you just read the setlist and judge. From comments on people who actually went to this show, I can see that it was bad. But I got a very average setlist on Toronto night 1 and it was still a killer show. Your just too damn negative and its quite annoying.

Which would be bullshit anyway as there was no flow at all during this show. After Bad Medicine the crowd lost interest completely, and many, many people left during the second half of the show.

Well this is a pretty disturbing thread. Absolutely no one cared about the show and the reviews indicate it was terrible. I really do think the second option is the case: that is, the band- or at least Jon- is already waiting to get home.

Yeah, still on vacation so I don't have time for a full review, but it wasn't that bad. Wasn't that good either. Middle of the road.

It was miles better than Giants Night 4. I enjoyed myself and tried not to get too worked up about not getting Love's The Only Rule but getting ILTT which ruined a good encore in my opinion. There was energy and Jon did look happy to be there. To those who constantly bitch and moan I have a simple solution. Stop going and stay home. Sometimes I just get tired of the trash talk around here. I had ninth row on the aisle which gave me a dead on view of Jon who at one point smiled at me. The man looked happy to be there and the disconnect present so many weeks ago was non existent. I too would love to hear Hey God, Dammed, Wild Is The Wind and so much more but I have to live in the real world. I believe and I was talking to Terri last night about it as well, Jon does not trust the audiences here enough to play anything rare because of the lack of interest. Its a shame really. The paranoid part of me says its because Jon hates his own meaning the American audiences.

I give the show an B+
