I kind of took that as a double meaning; both our patience and Richies absence is noted everyday. I'm not sure what others thought of it. Jon seemed pretty genuine with that speech.
He said exactly the same at my 4 shows but it does appear genuine

Some phone snaps I took tonight. The stage is simply amazing. The lighting and screen and just everything about it. Bah!

That looks amazing. Really regret not having been able to see it D: But in the end, I care much more about what's on the stage than the stage itself, and lately what's on the stage is doing less for me than it used to.

I decided at the last minute to go last night on the cheap and I am so glad I did. I loved the stage especially when they went off stage before the second encore. I was in the causal section which in my opinion is always in the upper decks. The response to songs like Crash and Who Says was met with loud screams. I don't understand it. Back to back Lost Highway songs has to go, at least split them up. I much rather have heard something better off The Circle instead of Follow. Thought that BTBMB was flat. I thought Jon's voice was fine but like Kathleen mentioned he is taking on more vocallly.

I saw Phil X in 11 and I enjoyed him then as I do now. I am in the minority but there were aspects of Richie that I missed. I guess its his stage presence and how he and Jon always played off each other. Phil can play and I love his tone. I enjoyed myself but something is missing.

After Prayer I left my seats to see Jon still on stage and then Always began. They wouldn't let us stand in the alcove but I stood in the hallway and sang Always. When Jon was taking that vote I kept yelling at the tv that carried the video feed for Jon to have the balls to play TD. I sang my heart out as ppl walked back and forth. I didn't care who laughed or anything. It was the price of admission. I believe Saturday night will be better set wise. I can only hope songs will be switched out. I believe IBTFY is in, ILTT unfortunately and In These Arms will find its way in too. Hopefully Memory gets replaced and Roses as well. I am hoping for something rare like TAALS because he did mention it.

It was great to see the friends that I miss and talk the show over with people that get it.

Can't understand why Jon isn't playing I'm With You. Seems like an easy song to play. It's short. It's a win-win.

Regardless of how much you or I like it's still a song a big chunk doesn't know. Granted so are most of the non-hits. I don't see it as a win/win at all.

The amount of people talking during Memory was unbelievable. I love that song and wanted to scream to them to shut the f**k up!

Went with some people who have never seen a BJ show before (though they weren't sitting with us) and I was curious to get their feedback. They loved it, a few of them that were sitting in the 300 section said the sound was awful there and they were moved to level 133 so that was awesome for them.

Also couldn't believe how many people were leaving once it started raining, it's only water people!

Saw Jon's daughter, and I got a kick out of her singing Wanted where she was standing.

Here is my quick review....

I was going to post this last night but I was too drunk. I closed the parking lot and didn't get home until 3AM.

My seats were on the floor directly in front of the catwalk. Not inside it but on the outside.

- Jon's voice actually sounded pretty good. I've always said, when you are there live, you don't notice his vocal struggles as much as you do on Youtube. I thought Always and Bed or Roses was fantastic. If I was a casual fan, I wouldn't even know that he has vocal struggles. A lot gets drowned out between the crowd, the volume, and your own singing.

- I think the new songs fell flat. After he sang BWC, he came back and did the chorus acoustically and wanted the crowd interaction. The front rows of diehards participated but that was it. It was actually a little awkward and uncomfortable because it was pretty quite. Not even close to the same levels as some of the others. I think Jon knew it too. He didn't give a YEA after or anything.

- Just to correct some of the posts I've read, he didn't do the INTRO to Prayer acoustically. He did the FIRST VERSE acoustically and then did the entire song, from the beginning, electric.

- Phil X is awesome. He nailed all the solos and just looks so pumped when he plays. He enjoys songs like WGIGO because of the heavier guitar riffs. Yea, you do miss Richie but Phil is now a familiar face and excellent guitar player.

Considering the bands age and how often they tour, who knows how many more times well see them before it over. I don't plan on missing any shows from here on out. Phil should not be a factor because what I saw last night was still a Bon Jovi show.

- The biggest surprise came at the end with These Days. Such a good tune and this album was written off by Jon in America so it's nice to get one. He don't do the OOOs but I did them so it didn't matter.

Overall, I had an awesome time and can't wait until Saturday. They still put on a fantastic show. His fake smiles get on my nerves but the girls still love it. My seats aren't as good for Saturday but it will mark my 40th show.
