It just reaffirms what I've thought all tour: there is absolutely no reason to go to multiple shows anymore. I would be baby-punching mad if I had been at this show getting basically the same set as the 25th. instead my only memory of the BWC tour is going to These Days ending the show the other night.

I see what you did there

Just got home, I am very disappointed with the setlist. I feel like the priority in the states is the casual part of the arena or stadium which probably is 75% of the audience. I really felt like we were going to hear something different. The people in the uppers where I was were satisfied. I loved DC, Phil did the song justice. Only the women in back of me seemed to know the song. DC doesn't make up for everything else. If you have to play a shit song like Town do it before Always. I almost forgave him until he started the song. I walked out. Yes Jon was great vocally and the band was tight but it doesn't rank up there with my favorite shows. Maybe going back to back isn't what I'll be doing anymore. I can't travel or buy expensive tickets like I used to, and after tonight its just not worth it.

I am so close to being done with them live, maybe that's the disappointment talking.

250 people compared to 50,000 casuals....how dare Jon. How dare he. What a cock he is not bowing to the 1% die hards and playing all the hits...selfish dick.

Sarcasm obviously....Jon should do an intimate gig for fan club holders only playing all rarities. Said this before. I have no problem with the structure of these gigs-especially in Jersey. You will get more casuals there from the NJ area BECAUSE its Jovi. Just because 1% want to hear Living Ian Sin, Hey God and Never Say goodbye does not mean that the other 99% do. They want hits. And a happy crowd means all is good in Jovicamp thus these people that had a blast will come again

That's not really the issue. I don't think anyone was asking for some rarity packed mega-set tonight. Had they switched out 5/6 songs in the main set (and I'm not talking about for rarities, I mean say open with BOB, switch out the two LH songs for say LMS and Radio, Amen instead of MaM, and IBTFY instead of BOR) and then did the same encore, I think a vast majority of people would be happy, or at less happier without changing ANYthing for the casual fans.

I just went back and looked at Boston and Detroit, yes they were cities with only one show but even they didn't get LH and WLOL back to back. It just seems like Jon could have gaven two ****s since they came back from Europe.

As I said in my previous post, Jon had no problem in disappointing the casuals when he played a load of obscure covers last week for the KOS show did he? I know I'm gonna get hounded for bringing Bruce up again but he has no problem filling stadiums and he regularly plays 5-6 super rare songs every night. Are we saying that casual fans can't appreciate decent music if they don't know it? Might aswell not bother promoting the new album tracks either then. Just a load if shit "waving hands in the air songs" to please the masses.

Also he can still play the well known songs by changing it up. I can name numerous hits they haven't played much (if at all) tour. LYHOM, Thank you for loving me, everyday, I believe, TAALS, Lie to me, Hey God, All about loving you, something for the pain, never say goodbye, one wild night...the list is endless. None of those are obscure. Jon is just a lazy prick.

Believe me Debs, Europe was nothing special. He played nearly the exact same set at HP as they did two years ago. Seems like they now have two rare songs, TD and DC, which get alternated.

You've just answered your own question there. Bon Jovi are not relevant in new song writing anymore. They can't write an album that will appeal to new people, so stick to what you know. And I think you'll find it's the "masses" that sell tickets. Start playing rare songs to the masses and the masses will go away. It's incredibly selfish that these die hards just want want want all the time, but give nothing but shit back to the band. That's why I'd never lower myself to that group of people. Nasty piece of work some of them

Did you even read the above post? CC and We got it going on werent even released as singles yet they get played every night. Jon does what he wants to do. , They just played 2 nights in their home town, fan club shows yet changed two songs, when (as Jon loves to brag about) they have 12 studio albums and a 30 year long career.
