2011's setlist was better, yes, but this setlist is still very good.

2011 much better, and with a man called Richie Sambora playing guitar.

What's more, people know this now yet still complain and seemingly act surprised about it.
Ah, the 'other bands' argument again. I know all about other bands-it's why I follow Bon Jovi. They're not meeting their own standards when it comes to mixing things up- this tour has been far more rigid than any other, with a few recent exceptions. Maybe down to the Richie issue, who knows? Either way, Wednesday and tonight regressed in terms of running order and song choice after the previous week. The encores have mostly been spectacular across Europe, the performances and vocals have been great since they came back from their break at the start of June, but a question mark remains as to why the uninspired main sets.

And this isn't coming from someone who's been stuck behind a keyboard the whole time- attended 3 shows, 3 great performances and 2 amazing encores, but in the cold light if day underwhelmed by the song choices. And again, not asking for 10 rarities. One or two would be nice, but I'd be happy with more from the current touring album, and a little rotation of some of the filler and minor hits. I don't think that's asking too much from a band that did exactly that until not too long ago.

Great night!!! DC atmosphere was fantastic and the band put in a great effort. Jon did go apesh*t at Phil early on though.

Very good show. The band are tired and this tour has taken its toll. But they are still one of the best live acts on the planet. No criticism of the setlist from me as they were brilliant. My daughter was going mad the whole time and we had a blast.

I'm glad for you both. Nice to see more positive reviews from people who were there.

Honestly, yes it can look bland on paper but it's about what it's like for those at the show. And as long as the audience go home happy, that's all that matters.
