I'm not gonna pretend im the biggest fan on here . . But 11 shows says I must be quiet a fan . . And I think tonight is arguably the best ..

Now there Is no point in comparing him to Bruce. . Because he's not Bruce. .

No point comparing it to a show in the 90s . . Cause its not the 90s .. Hell i can't do the same shit i could in the 90s. .

Why people can't just enjoy it . . You k ow all the negativity you take into shows etc will make you enjoy it less. . .

At the end of the day it really doesn't affect my life alot ... So i just go and rock . . I just dance and sing and scream have an awesome time and then go back to my life . .

Still dry tired so will full review later i just review ant understand the constant bashing . . . If i disliked a bands performance that much night after night. id stop . . .

You guys take it all so seriously . .
Spot on............. I

Comparing Bon Jovi to Bruce is like (and forgive me if this is too American and or too sports of an anlogy) is like comparing a baseball team to the New York Yankees in terms of historical success (27 Championships, nearly 3 times as many as any other team). Whatever one's opinion on his music, from a live energy/setlist changing standpoint, Bruce is completely untouchable. To carry on the baseball analogy, Bon Jovi are the Oakland A's. they're better than a vast majority of their competition, but they can't be compared to the best.

I think you are looking into it a bit too much. He was just saying the truth, David has been there from the very beginning. David was even with Jon in the band before Bon Jovi.

I'm not saying you do this but when Jon is joking on stage with David, his being mean and a bastard. Now his paying him a complement and saying how supportive he is, it's now a hidden attack on Richie? Can't it be what it is, a complement to a friend?

It says a lot about this tour when I actually got excited for Loves the only rule...

I enjoyed the show yes, but I'm really disappointed at the lack if real rarities this tour. I agree about Bruce, would it have harmed Jon to give us one tour premier last night? The pit was full of banners, loads for Love song but this was the standard GH setlist. Don't care who says I'm being negative, Jon knows there's loads of fans who do multiple shows. As a fan who spends a lot of money following this band, that's my opinion, entitled to be a bit ****ed off.

On the bright side, had a nice two days in London, honestly for Dublin and this trip I've enjoyed the nights out and the company than the actual shows. Yeah they were fun, but when you compare what we got on the last show in Lisbon it's a joke.

Good analogy.

l like Bruce, but only really the hits so for me I'd much rather see a shorter jovi show where I love all the songs than a marathon show by Bruce.

Still good point though

Bruce wishes he had the international success that Bon Jovi had, or the number one tours like Bon Jovi had. The last and only know song here by Bruce is Born In The USA, and that was almost 30 years ago.

He can be good live, but in success and acknowledgment he's just nobody comparing him to Bon Jovi. Specially outside the US.

I went to this show.

It's not sweat. Before this song (10th avenue freeze out), he put a wet sponge and pressed it all over his body. So it's a lot more water than it's sweat.

Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the show to a great extent, but still. Whatever you were trying to say, your point was not accomplished. Bruce does what he does and so does Jon.

Yeah funny that? I tried to get into it and enjoy myself I really did. Didn't listen to any Bon Jovi for the week before the show (probably the longest time without it since I got into music about 10 years ago) so by the time the show rolled around I hoped I'd need my Bon Jovi fix and I'd get over the Richie situation. Got really into the spirit of the day, enjoyed Bush (who I didn't know anything of before) and really liked the kaisers so when Jovi came on I was quite excited. As soon as bad name kicked in that all went away. It was like listening to Jon sing over the top of a very good karaoke band (you know the bands who play live and you sing over that instead of a tape). It just did not sound like listening to Bon Jovi at all.
