Walking to my car..just an fyi, really seemed like they were going to keep going, but Jon appeared to hurt his leg very seriously during glad all over. Like really looked bad he was barely walking. As soon as prayer ended all the guys ran over to catch him. Was honestly painful to watch it.

Is Jon alright alright alright alright alright?

Sorry, I couldn't resist. Just made that joke on Twitter, then started to worry that someone would take it personally, so I thought I'd reproduce it on the board where it was more likely to be taken in the way it was intended.

I do hope he is ok of course.

Yes! Love this.

I hope he's okay. But I wonder if this means they end up canceling two smaller shows that I'm thinking may have not sold as well...

That's how I feel about it, TBH. I really thought after the string of O2 shows that they were going to get something tonight. What the hell was Jon thinking? The first three were great.. this one is just anti climatic on paper. I really hope the performance/show was another story.

Think if its possible it could have been worse David, just got texts from Seb and Kat saying they walked out during prayer tey were that annoyed. Take on board about the injury to Jon but that didnt happen till the end of the show did it?

Where is everyone tonight? For being the Giants finale I figured this thread would be hopping, but not too many people here. Especially now considering the show's over and the news of Jon's injury.

That's what it sounds like. I probably would have walked out during Prayer, too. In the scheme of the first three shows and the O2 shows.... not much thought was put into this one. Let It Rock would have gone a long way and I guarantee the stadium respond to it would have been more than favorable. Everyone knows it.

I really hope the next round of shows makes up for this one for them.

The band once again demonstrates that they simply have two different tiers for setlists: Stuff they'll play for Europeans, and shit they'll play for Americans. It was bullshit in the final US leg on the LH Tour, and it looks like it's bull shit on this tour too. In this case it's especially outrageous: you gotta imagine there was a larger percentage of hardcore fans there than usual, seeing that they probably wiped out a lot of the casual base with the first three shows. I understand Jon might have wounded himself or whatever- out of all the songs in your repertoire to quite literally break a leg over, some shitty cover of a shitty song isn't what you would hope for- but that's no excuse for not making the main set a bit more interesting, and the encore was still lengthy... just loaded with shit. Piss poor.

On the same hand, the band typically comes back conservative after a break, so this really isn't any surprise. I hope the kiddies there still at least got good performances, though judging from the earlier tweets (Richie ****ing up in HAND and Jon apparently looking half-dead), I suspect the show in general sucked. And I pray Jon doesn't need an amputation.

I cannot wait to hear Seb's review. This should be good.

Or Brian, for that matter. Thanks in advance for tweeting the set.
