Which do I think I'll see? We'll I have seen Jovi on every tour since Sheffield City Hall in '86 on the Slippery tour and it has been with diminishing returns. Thought I might get 'Dry County' at MK in '05 as it was played in lots of other venues, but no. Went to Wolverhampton on the Bounce tour, which was the defination of bland.

The last show I saw which I thought was special in the songs that were aired was MK on the 'These Days' tour - since then I can't seem to catch a break.

Would love to see Dry County, Wild is the Wind, This Aint a Love Song, Undivided or even a surprise Never Say Goodbye.

However I have the feeling that it might be 'I got the Girl'!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The biggest sign to me will be the opener - Loved 'Rockin All Over the World' for glasgow and 'Prayer' for Manchester so I will be fascinated to see what we get, and if they go back to 'Lost Highway' I might as well resign myself to the vanilla!

Biggest hope : Something to Believe In, Hard Letting You Go or anything from These Days

Biggest Fear : VANILLA
It's not just what songs they play, its how they are playing them.

Tunes im not really fussed about (Last Cigarette, I Love This Town, Any Other Days, Blaze Of Glory etc) sounded absoloutly fantastic last night in Manchester. Everything was played with so much energy! I think whatever they play, it'l be a great show because you can really tell they are giving it some on this tour.

Default good point

thats a good point about the energy - although I thought they had that at last years O2 gig.
For me it will be show 18 in 22 years and I've seen passion (Sheffield 1993 - Jon didn't stand still the whole gig, paced and ranted) and I've seen bland (Wolverhampton 03) but my beef with modern day Jovi is that we all pay the same ticket price and are constrained by variables like where we live, family, job etc and most of us can't get to multiple shows on a tour. Therefore I get annoyed when you see some shows at 21 songs and some at 26 songs, not sure thats right.

I think there has to be some allowance for a band having a great night, the crowd being great etc and playing some more or different songs but the Jovi of recent years has been like Jeykll and Hyde - and you can almost guess which cities and shows will get the great set lists and which wont, so for example I knew last nights Manchester would be a great show and conversely I would never buy a ticket for Southampton in a million years!!

It shouldn't be like that, there should be more consistency - having said that I think the boys have played a blinder on this tour with the number of rarities and such like that have been played - never thought we'd see the amount of songs aired that we have - it's just Coventry is my only show of the tour and I pray its a good one!!

i hope you get a good show ! not so sure about dry county (maybe though with it being in the set twice in a row) , i'd be so jealous if you got these days or WITW they were in my opinion the only two songs that could of made manchester an even better show!

so good luck with it! TAALS would also be amazing but we just dont know what will happen the way the band are at the moment

Aloha !

Sleep-When-I'm-Seb, post the set as soon as you know it, please (meaning=after you got all the songs, and not when bonjovi.com puts it online). I won't be at home tomorrow night and don't want to go through a shitload of posts only not to find the set.

Thank you.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan
