Alright, alright - WHAT THE **** IS GOING ON HERE?
I had to read through at least a good thirty pages until I got my dose of sex talk! Jade, Sleepy-Seb, I'm disappointed
Anyway, that's all I had to say. See ya'll later
Oh wait, I went to that Bon Jovi gig last night!
So...as you know, I wasn't very excited, I was gonna be right at the back. Whereas this time two years ago I was at Coventry and nearer the front, on the side seats but the sound was shit, plus I wasn't as big-a-fan back then so I couldn't work out some of the songs.
But when we arrived yesterday I was just so excited! But the prive for car parking was £10 not £7.50 like it said on the piece of paper we got <_< Stupid bumwipes.
Anyway, so we got there. I saw loads of people with Bon Jovi shirts. That got me excited. Oh and then I went to the toilet. Then I came out of the toilet and got some coke.
Then me and me family (urgh) headed our into the arena. Found our dreaded seats and you know what? THEY WERE BETTER SEATS THAN LAST TIME! I could see the stage and the screens perfectly. Obviously I couldn't make out the faces on the guys on the stage but I could tell who was who and the screens allowed me to see what faces they were pulling.
But first, The Feeling came on. Can't stand them but live they're not so bad. They outstayed their welcome though, went on for frickin' ages it seemed like and I think they cheekily gave themselves an encore as well! They just have so much rock waiting to burst out of them though, you can tell. Shame they don't let it out.
And then after The Feeling had finished I heard a very recognisable bass line. Was it Keep The Faith? Was it Prayer?! No, it was MONEY! Good ole radio station blasting Pink Floyd through the speakers.
I could see Richie's guitar on stage, oh man I was excited. Then the band came on! They opened with Lost Highway, as expected, and it sounds like a naff opener on paper but it's fun live!
I stood up, the one of three at the back doing so. But there was like this 10 yr old girl behind me, I hope she visits this forum cos I want her to see this, and I looked behind and she looked real grumpy so I sat back down so she could see but I was gonna get back up when everyone else stood up!
But towards the end of LH I looked around and she still looked grumpy so I just thought **** you bitch. I stood up turned around and gave her a lil smirk and then turned around to jump up and start clapping

Well, I did say I wasn't gonna take no shit this time.
Born To Be My Baby, ah gotta love it. It was fun. Girl was still grumpy, hell most of that whole row was! Boring so and so's.
I knew Bad Name was next. LOVE this song, got me into Bon Jovi and I can never get bored of it. So as the opening lines were sung I thew my hands up to match it in perfect timing. Now some more people were standing up at the back! Except grumpy girl.
Man, that was fun. Oh btw, does anyone else find that when they're at the gigs they recognise the intro's but can't remember what the song is?! I get that a lot, it's annoying.
Anyway, the gig was going good. Oh and before the gig I heard someone kid a row back from me telling someone they played Dry County in his assembly at school
At ever Richie solo I shouted out Richie Sambora. Cos I'm cool.
And then....then....THEN RICHIE SAM-****ING-BORA SUNG! I totally forgot his sings I'll Be There For You at shows!
Of course, I loved that. Oh and this was around the point that a lovely lady next to me was talking to me. I hope you come on this forum later because you were cool and I appreciate you talking to me, it's nice to speak to a proper good fan of Bon Jovi for once! But more about you later.
And hmm, I'm forgetting everything now as I'm writing this! So I'm sorry if I forget to type anything. Who Says, grrr can't stand this song. But luckily lil ole Jack sang all the It's Alright parts for us. Cheers Jacko! And I love your bandanna by the way.
Oh! Oh! Bad Medicine, loved the screens for that of course

Shout is kinda boring into it now but live that is SO DAMN FUN! Bare in mind this is only my second Bon Jovi experience. Oh I forgot earlier to mention We Got It Going On, this was probably my favourite part of the main set. I love that song and it was the song I just screamed "YES!" for when Jon mentioned the title.
Loved it. It's My Life, that was fun, I think they sang the chorus one more time than they usually do. Faith was fun as well, especially doing the "FAITH!" bits where we would all put our hands up in union.
Have A Nice Day was ****ing excellant as well, the song that got me into Bon Jovi again when I forgot they existed. That was great.
Oh and Prayer, hehe. Not as fun as my first Jovi gig, that was magical but this was still fun! Oh and this is where the grumpy girl stood up! But she was videoing it on her mobile and didn't have a smile on her face...
...
WHY VIDEO A SONG OF A GIG YOU'RE NOT ENJOYING?! Grrrr.
Anyway, that was the end of the main set. I was expecting an auto-pilot show but a part of me was kind of expecting Dry County but hell, I still enjoyed the show! It was really fun!
Now the encore, opened up with Always, ****ing awesome, oh and it was with the extended solo! Woot woot! And then followed by the awesome THESE DAYS. I heard this at Coventry two years ago, and I cried then because it was my favourite song back then and I was disappointed that they didn't sing it but then they came on and did it. Anyway, enough of 2006. This song was great, and the lady who spoke to me looked shocked. I was happy for her. And then Wanted, awesome. And when it rained it just looked perfect!
I was a lil disappointed that there wasn't a second encore but it was still the best show I've been to. Loved it.
Now on a sidenote:...Dear the lovely lady that spoke to me, I hope you're reading this (just to claify who you are: You were surpised that someone as young as me was into Bon Jovi and you asked me what my favourite song was, I had many but the first one that came to mind was Dry County and when I said that you looked really please and you seemed to love it as well). I didn't hear the second question you asked me but I thought it was something like how did I hear of Bon Jovi which is why I said I heard bad name years ago, so I'm sorry if that wasn't your question and that my answer made no sense. Oh and you looked really shocked and happy about Always and These Days, I was gonna put my arm round you or hug you out of excitement but I didn't wanna give the wrong impression or anything. Hope you enjoyed the show.
Oh! Oh! Some stuff I forgot. On the way out I bought the Bon Jovi flease. I didn't want to, not at that price but I just love fleases and I couldn't resist anymore! But when I finally squeezed my way to the front they didn't have any left in my size. But the hot lady serving me took hers off and gave it to me, I should have asked if I could buy her shirt as well.
Oh and on the shuttle bus, JEEZ. There was this man, nice fella I guess, but woah. He played Alone by Heart on his mobile

Who did he think he just saw?! And then when he stood up he banged his head on the roof lmao, then said either "cockmunch" or "cockroach", I'm guessing the former but it sounded like the latter.
So all in all, I had a real good time

Just wish I bought those Twickers tickets as well like I originally planned

Ah well, maybe I should just go up there and buy some of a tout.
Flippin' cool show.
