How much did the audience like Sunrise Avenue? From the few clips I've seen on YouTube, looked like there were some fans. I'm a fan of Sunrise Ave as well, so I'm a bit curious how BJ fans liked them.

From what I saw and read, most people really liked them and were positively surprised. I didn't read any negative feedback thus far and even though my frisnds and me were the only 'real' fans in our area, I thought that most quite enjoyed their show. Samu also said something about the Austrians being so nice to the support acts. But of course many were just very, very glad they didn't have to hear Gianna Nannini anymore

To keep it short and simple:

The show was awesome. The atmosphere was great (esp. in the pit - I was standing 5th row )- off stage and on stage. I really felt like the band had a great time too.

I think they started at about 9 pm due to the fact that they saw the traffic jam (BJ came by helicopter - wise choice ).

For everything else - as if it wasn't enough that the weather just sucked...the organisation was like... non-existent. Absolutely horrible. Never seen anything like that before...

The concert ended at ~11 pm - we found our car at half past midnight (duh - there were like 25,000 cars - in the darkness, somewhere...)
In the mud formerly known as parking space we waited/slept in our car until 03:30 and made it to Vienna city in less than 1,5 hours *yay* (usually it takes you about 20 minutes).

I guess it's quite safe to say that that stupid race-course (owned by a quite famous Austro-Canadian billionaire ) will never ever see something this big again.
At least it won't see me ever again

edit: PS: About Sunrise Avenue - they were really good IMHO. Funny and even proved their German language knowledge and being part of the Bon Jovi fandom
