Said it before, but I'll say it again - was never going to be The Script - they're under LiveNation for touring.
A lot of the bigger modern acts are with Live Nation rather than AEG Live.

Anyone have any info on buses to the venue? I actually have a B&B booked in a place called Drogheda, but need to figure out how to get from there to the venue and back again.

Drogheda? Tasty. You'll stand out there if you own your own teeth and aren't shagging your sister.

There should be buses running mate. Worst case scenario, get a few cans for the train to Dublin and there will be shedloads of buses running from there.

Yeah, but I was always surprised that they had Nickelback supporting them many years back. Then again, Nickelback weren't as big in the Uk/Europe.

I have a BBC radio interview at the time where he was asked about Nickelback supporting them in the UK, and Jon was such a big-headed knob about the way he answered the question. It was something condescending like ''yeah, I heard their new record and decided to give the guys a shot opening for me!'' as if he was taking some young new upstarts out on the road for the first time.

Errmm, Jon, Nickelback's album sales at the time were destroying yours at home. That album ended up selling 11 million. And ''Rock star'' was about to explode in the UK, so they were a big draw on the ticket sales for Bon Jovi's european leg of the tour, despite what JBJ thought.

Wow, you got a link to that interview ?

Doesn't surprise me if I'm being honest, but its a quite disrespectful to a band that even at that stage were a big deal. Chad Kroeger on the other hand gave Bon Jovi great comments on that UK - Hall Of Fame show.

I know it isn't gonna happen, but can you imagine a time where Bon Jovi would be forced to support someone else. I'd just love to see his reaction if someone even brought up the suggestion.

Decided on this advice it may just be easier staying in Dublin then, so that's sorted.

That way maybe I can avoid what sounds like the village of the damned.
