Seen them:

RDS
Croke Park
Punchestown

Honestly think this is going to be the best first time they have played at Slane!!! Also my first time at slane.


(Although Crush Tour during the thunder and lightening storm at RDS was pretty special)

I'm going in with low expectations...I've seen them 9 times and have never been less enthusiastic about seeing them. A combination of no Richie and the bad comments about Jons voice and performances early in the tour. But my attitude has changed lately after seeing the reviews of the last few shows.
Still not looking forward to going to Slane itself though. I've done it twice before and while I did enjoy the shows, it was a nightmare getting down and back...
But I'm determined to have a good time regardless...
Maybe Bono will make an appearance aswell...

Have to say I am feeling much the same...a combination of no Richie (I am almost dreading hearing Wanted without him!) and the hassle of getting to and from Slane...have seen them every time since they started coming to Ireland back in '88 but I am shocked at how unexcited I feel about this one! I just hope we are very pleasantly surprised tonight! Still can't help but have that bit of a knot in my stomach since I got up this morning all the same!

Nice n dry so far kinda windy though,


Long day ahead though!!!

Still not excited bout show.
Will happen once I get in but my expectations for a good show are pretty low! Hoping I get surprised though!!

Am more prepared for Wanted tonight. Manchester was the first time and it was pretty horrible. The worst part for me was seeing Jon standing on his own at the end with his guitar in the air!!
