Ok so tonight might be horrible and more bearable then when I see them in Glasgow! Good to know!

Anybody at Slane yet? How is traffic? I am not leaving home til 2.30 but with all the talk of people already there I am getting a bit nervous of being stuck in traffic for hours! :-/ I HATE Slzne as a venue for this reason!!

Struggling to keep quiet about it all in case my son gets wind of where I am going!!! He would be so upset to miss it but I just didn't think Slane was going to be child friendly. He gets a holiday to Scotland out of it anyway...making a 10 day tripout of the July 3rd Glasgow concert!

I'm here, seems quiet enough but as far as I know no cars allowed into Slane village after 10, that's why we here so early.

Just started to rain too!

Thanks for that...we are driving up from Kildare at 2.30 so not too far away and I believe the carparks then are a good 30-40 min walk away if memory serves me correctly! Sooooo excited now! Hopefully the rain will just be a shower! Wellies ready to go anyway!

Aloha !

I fully expect Jon to say something tonight along the lines of a shower with 80.000 of his closest friends.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

I read they are expecting about 55,000 at Slane today. Smaller capacity than usual because they have some seating areas too. Its definitely getting harder to sell concert tickets in Ireland - I was at Robbie Williams at the Aviva last night and it was nowhere near sold out, loads of empty seats everywhere and plenty of room on the pitch (good gig though )

I'm leaving for Slane myself soon, GC with my daughter. Really looking forward to it. Hopefully the showers stay away!! See yous on the other side..
