Maybe they filmed the show for a DVD release.

I wonder what this board was like in 2003-2006.
It was the same.

Just answering your question, would or could never happen, but if I was "all about the rawk...man" I guess something like that could fit for me.
More of those kind of songs, that's what I meant, yeah.

Home from the gig now. Strange is the best word I could use to describe it.

I had seriously considered not going due to Richie's absence but felt it was worth going regardless. By and large the concert was fantastic but from my perspective the magic that I normally feel at a Bon Jovi show wasn't there.

Jon was superb tonight; he was obviously struggling with his vocals like on the rest of the tour but he got through the main set very admirably and honestly when you're in the concert environment it's really not that noticeable. His vocals for the encore however were amazing, I thought. He worked his ass off tonight to put on the best show possible and was clearly moved by the occasion.

Dave was a revelation. His playing was as brilliant as always but his vocals were much more prevalent than usual and he covered Jon so much tonight. How lucky Jon is to have somebody like Dave to help him in Richie's absence.

I have a huge amount of respect for Phil X, he was phenomenal. Great stage presence, great playing (especially KTF & Dry County), and great interaction with the band and audience.

As for the show itself, the main set was pretty rubbish. It started off brilliantly with That's What the Water Made Me, and progressed along nicely if unspectacularly. Things started to kick into gear around IML. There was a nice moment at the end of BWC when Jon thanked the crowd for their reaction to that song, in that way, in this venue....he then played the chorus solo on his acoustic with the crowd singing along. We got it going on & Keep The Faith kept things building but then it all came crashing down.

The second half of the main set was awful. Drudgery is the word that came to mind. It was one boring song after another that the crowd by and large just weren't into. The Sleep/Bad Medicine conclusion brought a bit of life back into proceedings and set the stage for the best encore that I've ever seen.

You couldn't really hope to choose a better set of songs: Dry County, Wanted, In These Arms, Saturday Night, HAND, These Days, Blood on Blood, Prayer, I Love This Town, and Always.....wow! Everyone one of them performed beautifully.

The band played for 3 hours and 10 minutes which is phenomenal, and were really brilliant, but (i) the absence of Richie, and (ii) a terrible main set that lacked anything truly exciting and never established a good momentum means that for me, it was the worst Bon Jovi gig I've ever been to.
