Here's a pretty c*nty review from someone with nothing much to say about the actual music.

I wish people would stop saying "other bands only do..."- I know this, that's why I regularly go see Bon Jovi and not "other bands."
There has always been certain predictable elements of the sets. Bad Name being played 2nd. Sleep followed by Bad Medicine. Certain songs seem to get paired together. I don't mind that. I don't mind that certain songs are staples (even if I wish some weren't!). But I've never, in all the years, seen it where the entire setlist can be predicted so accurately. Where night after night is almost identical. If last night was your first show of the tour, yes, it was a fantastic overall set. But if you've been to some of the other shows in the past week, you would have been standing there thinking that's its not as fun when you KNOW what's coming next. Maybe I've just been really lucky in the past, but I've never been in that position before, because Bon Jovi have always mixed it up enough. I'm not demanding to hear a shit load of different songs, but keep me on my toes and at least change the running order.

Each show I have seen this tour I have enjoyed immensely because I don't really care what is played to be honest. Other than Never Say Goodbye I have heard everything on 'my list' so I go to have a good time hearing my favourite songs, watching my favourite band, with great company.

Stop chasing the rarities and enjoy the gig!

Waiting in Dublin airport for the flight home.

What can I say about the show; JBJ and friends are the best band in the world, except that other band, what are they called? Oh yeah, Bon Jovi.

Absolutely fantastic show. Not THE best I've seen because Richie would have to be there for that but it was up there, high up there. The atmosphere was incredible, Jon was on fire, Dave and Tico were on fire, and that Phil X guy may have had a moment or two when it seemed he might have burst into flames as well.

I haven't had a chance to see what others have said other than a brief skim through (thank god for Dublin airport's wi-fi) but I see people on here are slating the set for lack of rarities.

Yes, I could predict every song up until Bad Medicine. But that's only because I'm on here every day. Yes, I'm probably going to get almost exactly the same show in a few weeks in Hampden. And yes, the few songs after Keep The Faith could use a little bit if tweaking.

But let me list them; Dry County, Someday I'll Be Saturday Night, Blood On Blood, These Days and Always. All in one freakin' set. I've been luckily like most of you to see this band so many times that to get something I haven't heard before is going to be difficult at every show. So don't expect it...not this tour, without Richie. Enjoy the gig, you'll probably have a better time. The band could have done only one thing better - not did I Love This Town, but it was Dublin, I was sorta expecting it and just glad they didn't finish the show with it.

Okay time to talk about the elephant in the room. The absence of Richie. I've been very hard on Mr Sambora lately, and I believe quite rightly so. And now it's going to be worse because there is this huge ****ing hole in songs like I'll Be There For You and Wanted that Phil just can't, well, fill.

Phil X is an amazing guitarist and he's starting to really adapt to these songs - some of his solos (especially Dry County) were incredible and any other band would be lucky to have him. Jovi are lucky to have him. But **** you Richie...this would've been the best show ever if you'd only shown up!

I won't do Slane again - the atmosphere was incredible, the view was stunning and I dunno if they had to give away a shitload of tickets or what but it was packed, but getting out was a long, hard and painful experience I don't really want to ever repeat.

However, that withstanding - mind blowing show. I doubt Hampden will be able to top it.

Spot on. Jon knows very well the faces in the pit who are there every night, to pass These Days as the special song is bullshit really. When we were beautiful kills the show every time, he could have easily replaced that with Living in sin/hey god/let it rock.

I actually love When We Were Beautiful, but it doesn't work like it should live. That section definitely needs something more upbeat within a few songs ... Something like I'd Die For You/Blaze and I'm With You/What's Left Of Me might work pretty well.

Such an arogant, selfish and pretty childish attitude. Some people only go once because thats all they can afford and may have to scrape the money together for that, does that mean they dont deserve to hear These Days(Dry County you moaned about last tour )because the self proclaimed "die hard" fans dont want to hear it again?
