Well, sorry if you couldn't go last time. There're people out there that have been going to every gig doing a big effort just to get the same crap over and over again. If you're a casual, you're going to enjoy the show anyway if the performance is good and they play some hits... not every single one; and if you're a diehard, if they play good "rare" stuff, you're going to be pleased also. If they played on my first gig "Get Ready", This Ain't A Love Song", "Only Lonely", "Wild Is The Wind", "I Am", "I'd Die For You", "Thank You For Loving Me" or "One Wild Night" and the few songs I like from the new record, I wouldn't give a crap if they didn't played "I'll Be There For You" or "I'll Sleep When I'm Dead". And I'd be more than pleased with that show.

As long they play Have A Nice Day, It's My Life, Livin' On A Prayer, Wanted Dead Or Alive and maybe Always, every casual should be pleased.

Not sure if youve lost something in the translation but i did go. and I.m not a casual or a "diehard"(whatever the **** that means). Your list is more or less unrealistic if youre honest with only 3 of them getting close to getting a chance of geting played. Everyone would love to hear those songs but its not going to happen.

And as I,ve said before its not hard to get tickets nowdays,so do as i did and get one 2 days before and keep an eye on the setlists. If theyre not to your taste dont ****ing buy one. Simples.

I know, the thing is, why are those rare? This Ain't A Love Song was the biggest hit of These Days and was a massive hit in Latin America, pretty sure it was in Europe too, Thank You For Loving One went to number one here, it was all the time on MTV, pretty sure all the younger fans know that one, I'd Die For You is an album cut of their most massive and famous record. I know they aren't going to get played, or maybe are going to a few times a tour, but what I'm saying is that is very likely that the casuals are going for only the biggest five hits and to see the performance, as long the show is good, they should be pleased.

Personally, I've heard Die For You so many times I'd not count it as rare - used to be played all the time. Now Dry County/These Days/Always seem to be taking that place. If the band are still around in another 5 years maybe it'll change again. They went nearly a whole decade without playing the three I mentioned - I'll take those while I can get them.

Well, the original version of Always was played a lot on the One Wild Night Tour, and like it or not, the TLFR was played on the Bounce and Have A Nice Day Tour, so it isn't like it was absent all this time.

My problem isn't with those 3 songs, though, is with... Bed of Roses and I'll Be There For You as the "innamobible ballads", is with I'll Sleep When I'm Dead when it doesn't bring anything live and they play We Got It Going On and Bad Medicine that have the same effect live, is with Lost Highway... a hit nowhere, and an album that has better songs to be played live than that one, is with Captain Crash, we got it Jon, you love to play it every night but can't you play other things? Is with Who Says You Can't Go Home, hey, was a hit in america, not nowhere else, play it, it's a night song, but just don't overburn us doing it every night!

And it's with the few balls the band is having. I love Beautiful, and I'd love to hear it live, but they could play Room At The End Of The World on it's place. Follow? What if they brought back some rock from Have A Nice Day or Bounce?

Let's not forget about the order of the songs that's super predictable.

All I'd want a new "basic" setlist every tour. Am I asking something so hard?

Holy shit, people pay the highest prices to see only JBJ from the waist up.

That's a terrible, terrible view. I'd honestly rather be at the back.

Just answering your question, would or could never happen, but if I was "all about the rawk...man" I guess something like that could fit for me.
That would be unreal if that ever happened

slane may wasnt sold out but surely was packed. bj staying power amazes me truly...poor new material-richie missing-bad reviews-high ticket prices in bad economies-overtouring certain markets and they still achieve these numbers...really impressive imo...many here joked about the photo matt tweeted and claimed it will be embarassing and not more than 30,000 people will be there but where proven wrong...
many things have to change drasticaly but from time to time we should give jon some credit because imo the last decade bj touring wise are only behind the stones and u2 and noone else

Horrible view - Problem is, wife wants to be that close at Hyde Park.... I would happily stand a lot further back.

On another note, read a review earlier from someone on a non-BJ forum I use and they SLATED this gig.
They couldn't believe how bad the sound was and actually left early.
