I showed the tenth avenue vid to a big Bruce fan at work who is very cut up with Clarences death, and he was very very impressed indeed. He couldn't be any more complimentary about it.

Well that's nice to hear. I honestly don't know why the niceness - maybe people are mellowing to the "Jersey Pretender" (Jon's nickname on the Bruce boards if you didn't know) - or maybe it has something to do with death and an honest tribute.

Either way - I hope it continues. People that know me, know that I'm actually a bigger Bruce fan than Bon Jovi fan; I started out way back, when the internet was born, on the Bruce boards. I got so sick of the negativity and the "Bruce is God" attitude that I finally left. The board I was on is no longer in existence but the others are not much better.

I used to check in here from time to time, and by 2002 I decided that I liked the people here far better and have been here ever since. I know some that might laugh about that negativity, thinking that this board can be very negative too - and it can. But I have found that the people are nice and friendlier and when something gets bashed - it tends to be the band - not other people for being "non-believers" or having a different opinion.

I suppose a lot of them have just come to the realisation that life's too short to be negative, especially towards someone who has been such a friend to Bruce and the band.

The band getting into cars after the show. Jon is the last one out, you can tell by the crutchs being held. He seems pretty OK walking down the stairs but just slow. While, the others just hurry and get into the car. His not as quick.

thanks for videos.. JBJ is very slow walking down the stairs... its awful this has happened ... he is putting on a brave face for the crowd, it can be easy being away from home and injured and having to still face thousands...
