I agree! I dont think I would notice the rain while Jovi were on stage.
Its beforehand that would bug me.

Just.no.rain.please.

Had more than enough at Ebreichsdorf. Brrr.
Why can't I just have a warm and sunny concert once in a while?

i wouldnt worry too much - it was supposed to be heavy rain at southampton, just as the band were due to hit the stage. We had a dry evening, one tiny bit of drizzle, so it can change at the last minute!

Hehe you must be right Apparently there are flood warnings in place for Glasgow on Sunday....2.5 inches of rain
Ah well hopefully me and my friend will be indoors most of Sunday recovering so shouldn't really affect us

Default How to create atmosphere in Manchester??

Hey there,

All those going to Manchester On sunday. How can we create a crackin atmosphere leading up to showtime. I miss the days at gigs were the audience used to clap, stamp their feet, blow whistles and do mexican waves for about half and hour before the show started. The build up used to be so much fun. The last I remember anything like that was U2's tour in 2005, were the stadium was sizzling with anticiapation before they came on.

Any chance we could attempt to create such a thing. It only takes a few people to start everything off. I was gonna suggest I start blowing a whistle at 7.45 the others follow all over the stadium, but it could drive the people around me nuts.

Any ideas. Would put the band in a good mood too.

You could shout ''He's got a bomb!!!!'' real loud and start trying to run away, that would liven things up a bit.

Bring a pile of blow-up bouncy balls, and if your that way inclined, party poppers, sparklers and shit like that.
