Well all I can sat is I had one of the most AMAZING nites of my life on Tues! Got a ticket for A3 row E on monday for £25 of seatview, got the 5am bus from edinburgh tues morn got in to London at 4pm ( longest journy of my life btw). Picked up ticket hac to say was very apprehensive about that kept thinkin this is waaay to good to be true! But got ticket fine.
Then wen I got in the o2 was absolutly estatic to see that my seat was practically rite at the barrier, 3rd sea in was so sxcited! Then has it got closer to the gig securty guy sed that only the people in the 1st two seats can stand at the barrier but after much pleading and pointin out that there was room he let me in! Was totally over the moon!!
Had the best view of the band ever 1st time I hav been in line with job and cud see him with no obstructions! Thot I wud make a impromptu sign since I was so close, one sed Bed of Roses, Dance?! And the other sed These Days. So when they came on held my BOR sign up Jon spotted it pointed at it and laughed!! Also held up my These Days sign which I cud see him looking it. ( and I know see that both of these were played last nite!!!)
Was jus so unbelievable that I got so close fir £25 esp when they were on the walkway playing YWMAM jus amazing!
But as for the set list yea hav to say was a little disappointed much prefered it on Thurs with the rarer songs esp open all night, love for sale, loves the only rule and jon singing with the crowd. But did love richiew doing LYHOM!
but still was one of the amaing nites ever got some great fotos and videos will have to share!
Then last was me, had to get out sharp as was gettin the 2350 sleeper bakc to Edinburgh to go bak ro work in the morning lol. All totally worth it!!

Agreed. 15 Years + is a long time to be spelling it wrong.

Say whatever you like, this show was great. Not the greatest but I loved being there! I can write the whole story of my trip to London, sleeping outside the O2 and stuff like that if anyone is interested

I don't agree that there was something with Jon - he was on fire, believe me, I've seen enought bootlegs to judge it. On the other hand - Richie was the man this night I loved watching him so much. Compared to my previous show, this is a different man, rocking again, he doesn't move that much though but he rocks!!

The setlist was very standart and predictable - I was very hyped for the show because it was my first time in the pit, I was so ****ing close! you can see me with my mobile waving during Always: I was having great fun during the first songs until LH which I passionately hate but I have to admit that they play it with passion - it rocks the way they do it now and I like the extended part before the last chorus but the songs is still terrible. Garageland was nice to hear but it is not a song I'd die for and unfortunately it killed the atmosphere in the arena because nobody knew it. I thought we were getting WWWB when Jon went to the mic
From the first chords of MaM I knew all songs we were getting apart from Always. I was and I am sad that it was so predictable, moreover when I look at setlists from following nights. It was funny when the circle stage set started because many people run there and the rest was staring at Jon's ass but I was looking at the stage Bobby gave me a strange look because it was really weird that was looking the opposite direction than the rest of the pit

My very sad observation is that the band is doing it right - as much as we do not agree. WGIGO had the best crowd reaction after Prayer and maybe IML. People were having fun more during LH that Raise Your Hands. People love waving their hand during Crash and they like to dance and move to Sleep. They go to buy beer when Richie starts to sing. It is sad but true. I am not surprised Jon is making the sets this way even if I don't agree with it. Blame the crowd and not him. Generaly I think the crowd was quite lame. I expected similar freaks to me in the pit, singing, jumping, dancing, shouting... the couple next to me knew Bad Name, IML and Prayer.., the ladies in front of me went to buy beer during Lay Your Hands... I looked like a complete fool with my performance there but **** it, I was there to have some fun. I must say that crowds in Germany and Ireland were much better. maybe because they were grateful for their spots in GA, no spoilt people coming two minutes before the show and sitting on their seats. There was too much of empty space in the pit and on the floor..

The last note - In And Out Of Love, I've seen the banner and I was curious if Jon will react anyhow. Obviously this wasn't the night when he wanted to risk or try something special. Ehm, what is special on night no.9?? Night no.10 is special (and the setlist was) and the last couple of shows there is also. I could to go to any other show that this one so I'm not sad of my bad choice. Jon saw the banner and he twice said "no" not to the mic he was having fun He said something about calling request everytime but he won't play this one and actually it was him who started playing it on the acoustic and Richie joined him. But because both of them had their acousti guitars on and the song probably wasn't rehearsed that much, they didn't do it.

Overall - I don't thing I wasted my money when I bought a ticket to the pit. I have seen London and I totally love this city, I was really close to the stage-band that I'm afraid I won't be anymore and I have seen a band that enjoyed themselves, I have seen a singer who sings pretty well - Always seemed like a piece of cake for him, I haven't seen a better Always for ten years, maybe fourteen years! - I have seen a guitarist that rocks, I have seen a keyboardist that is always happy and I have seen a drummer that kicks ass, I got amazing sound and top performances. I'm more than fine with all of these.

(PS this is the short review, not the one I can write if anyone is interested )
