Oh, how excited I am to be in the presence of such masterful artists for TWO nights!!! You know what? Bon Jovi should be opening up for these guys. That's how good that lyric is right thur. That stupid album These Days has NOTHING on them.

Yeah, Vintage Trouble were 'entertaining' that's all that can be said really. Their songs were a bit lacklustre but they've got good energy and stage presence. Nothing like their best support acts but far from the worst eg. Biffy Clyro, The Feeling.

The less said about Val Verde the better.

For a band that supposedly battled hundreds of other entries to land what will undoubtedly be their biggest gig ever (based on their performance anyway), they sure were miserable b*stards... well, the singer was anyway. Personally, I'd have been high as a kite to be on the Murrayfield stage even if the people out there don't know the material.

Firstly it's about savouring the experience and secondly it's about making even just a handful of people sit up and take notice of you.

If you sound like a moody, mono-syllabic teenager you're going to get an entirely different reaction though.

Exactly how I summed up the support acts. Van Verde were horrendous. Night and day from the last Scotland gig when Logan played. They did Scotland proud that day and showed that there is great unsigned talent out there. By the end of their set they had the full crowd singing "When I Get Down". They used the gig to launch their next tour and sold out the Cathouse about 2 weeks later. They could have easily sold it out twice over that night. By the end of the year they were supporting Alter Bridge on their full European Tour.

That's some lyrical genius right there.

This was the best Jovi gig I've been to, and I've seen 5. My friend who has travelled all over the world to see them and has probably been to about 10 gigs said it was the best Jovi gig she had ever seen.

I thought the crowd were absolutely jumping from start to finish. Even the lesser known numbers were sang with enthusiasm.

Jon wasn't going to do These Days until he saw the crowd reaction at the end. For me, that's an indication of how good the show was and how much Jon enjoyed it as well as the crowd.

Edinburgh is a million times better than Glasgow, purely for the location of the stadium and the size. It was pretty much full - apart from the lower tier at the back. Other than that I saw no empty seats and the videos I took show that also.
