Sure, on paper this looks great. But people do seem to forget that the songs don't sound the way we remember them. Jon sounds like ass on pretty much every song and a song like Living In Sin is a completely different song live than it is on record, yet people seem to love the watered down version as much as the album version. I don't get that.

I just can't get excited over this stuff anymore.

You are right.

But, at the same time, they are still good songs and I'd jump at the chance of hearing the likes of 'Radio', 'Die For You' etc. live.

I'd kill to go to a show like you did last tour (Barcelona/Lisbon etc.) but it's not going to happen and even in those two years the band has changed. It doesn't look like 'I Believe', 'Santa Fe', 'Homebound Train' etc. are going to be pulled out of the bag so any form of 'rarities' these days, I will take gratefully. It's just the way it is.

I loved the Living In Sin performance of the other day, and I enjoyed a lot the I'd Die For You of the 2011 setlist. Radio always was stripped down, it didn't changed that much. I like this changes as I love the songs

After 3 months with the same standard set list, I understand your illusion, but these songs have been played in the last shows.

This is something you could see at the start of the tour with Sambora, but at the end of the European tour I find unacceptable, but is better than yesterday though.

The European Boring Tour is coming to an end.

But is YOUR boring European Tour coming to an end? I really hope it is.

They didn't played any of this songs when Sambora was there, so I really don't get what you're saying.

And yes, it's nothing that they haven't played this tour, the amazing thing is that is all at once.

Yeah, and I can understand your point of view. I just can't understand getting excited over something you (as in you in general) saw as "that is alright" just 2 years ago. The songs have remained the same, just because they're rare now doesn't suddenly make them lots better, though judging from the reactions on Jovitalk that's how people approach rare stuff.

It's not just the setlist that dictates the quality of a show for me, it's the entire band. A rare song like Die For You is great, but only when it's performed right. When it sounds shit as in "haaadiee for yuh" with Bobby doing the guitar solo they might as well play something they're closer to performing the right way. It's the same with This Ain't A Love Song being performed now. It's nice, but in the end it doesn't sound like Bon Jovi at all anymore.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

Really....Oh man!! And from reading posts at Backstage seems there were a ton of requests in the pit at Stuggart like "What's Left Of Me' and some of the others showing up here. Probably same fans are at this show that had the signs...I'm guessing.
