jon went a long way tonite to please the fans...whats next?i believe or damned???
i agree with seb we want rarities but most of these songs sound poor especially now with richie gone and jons voice in mediocre shape...i never was a fan of i d die for you for example but when i heard it from a hammersmith bootleg i loved it...the performance makes the diference

It's not just the setlist that dictates the quality of a show for me, it's the entire band. A rare song like Die For You is great, but only when it's performed right. Don't get me wrong, I totally know that you're saying. And, in actual fact, I agree with you to a point. I had a discussion with someone here a while ago whereby they were claiming 'Dry County' was boring and were happy that 'Happy Now' replaced it. They may like 'Happy Now' better than 'Dry County', but personally I'd rather hear 'Dry County' every day of the week than say 'Happy Now' or 'Summertime', because regardless of how common 'Dry County' is, it's a better song than those two.

But, I think the 'rare' songs nowadays are good songs, and I have never heard them. So while I think you're totally justified in not being overly excited, I can't help myself.
