Seriously, Jon sounds so good every time on it and looks like he enjoys singing it. I'd love for that to stay around every tour. I really would...
I love it too. When I first heard it at my first Circle show in Philadelphia it just blew me away. I liked it on the CD but I loved it live. I think it deserved far more of an outing than it got on the last tour.

It will probably stay for a while, since he played it he didn't let go. And he shouldn't.

Richie was having fun on stage with Huey and the other band members (contagious amnesia or what ??) but right now he is not there and the IMPORTANT thing is to make it look like they are brothers and best buddies and have a major blast ...because that image is majorly cracked today .... not a comment made by me by checking on youtube ... I was there second row near the center for 4hours and 40 minutes under a persistent rain (we entered the pit 2 hours 20 minutes before they began) I could just SEE and feel the atmosphere on stage and off ...it was a good show (if you consider the awful weather) among the shows done without Richie Sambora.... I think the crowd though was not that much into it in the seats ... the ppl in the pit, were very enthusiastic, from Prague but also a lot from other countries around here ... hungary slovakia Russia Poland etc etc also plenty is Israel fans Spain fans and me ... I liked it actually and sang along what I didn't do at the first shows of the tour like Munich etc ...the more I go to shows the more I accept those Jon Bon Jovi and friends performances but this is NOT bon jovi ...the show in stuttgart made it obvious .. jon WANTED to go on and on and improvise spontaneously but he got the point and sort of left the stage frustrated :THEY CANNOT DO THAT AT ALL without Richie .... hate me ....I don't care
So just to be clear, you're missing Richie? Why queue up for hours before then to see Static JBJ and friends?

Phil did a good performance this time in TAALS. This will only get better with time.

Nah, I agree with the guy who said they are having more fun. Jon definitely is. Yeah they have their moments on other tours, but with Jon his interactions with Richie have seemed pretty forced on recent tours.

Jon knows the whole 'Richie and Jon' thing is a big selling point so he forces himself to play up to it, fake smile, interact, mike to guitar blah blah because the fans want to see them practically ream each other. But I bet he is relieved not to have to play nice and that has given him a genuine level of freedom and happiness in his performance.

Also must be nice to know the guy to your right is going to turn up sober every show rather than worrying if he's going to be steaming drunk and hack his way through a performance.

On the downside ladies, Jon'll get more smile lines now.

The way he went for the final note that night was a moment I will never forget, he pushed himself like no tomorrow and gave everything he had.

Don't get me wrong, This Ain't A Love Song sounds fine in Cologne and Prague, but Lisbon and pretty much the last few shows of the 2011 tour were a whole different beast in regards to overall performance.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan
How come he does sound like crap on the audience recording of Lisbon too then?

I remember following that gig here in DC. The excitement! What could have been the Argentina show if Tico wouldn't had been ill...
