The last time Bon Jovi played Prague was September 4, 1993. The setlist contained no surprises, apart from it being shorter than usual.

No line graph due to unavailable chart information

Bon Jovi have tried to play Prague multiple times afterwards, but no gig ever really happened. As a matter of fact, the European leg of the 1995 tour was supposed to end in Prague, but the show was cancelled a few months after tickets had gone on sale due to it ending up in a financial disaster on behalf of the promoters. Various websites list this show as having taken place, but this is incorrect.

More information can be found here: http://www.bonjovi-archives.com/09_T.../19950709.html

There has been talk of a show in Prague with pretty much every tour ever since, and finally organisers seem to have gotten in right, despite it being in a smaller venue than originally hoped for.

I reckon this show will be similar to Berlin and the likes.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan
Shame they missed hand in the encore. I thought that worked well. Apart from that I like it.

Anyways, great set. short (23 songs...) but VERY good indeed.
I agree... they have to be happy and 'play' the best buddies ever on stage to make Richie absence less obvious ... I was in prague and at almost all the shows ... i recall you all complaining about Jon being static ...I am sorry but he still is VERY static behind the mic compared to any of the tours before ... it's like all the complains are now gone and all is fine and perfect ... the last shows are really better (less bad is more like it I cannot get HOW people don't miss Richie voice and guitar playing .. phil is nice and smiling but an elephant in a glass shop) but still you can see that they *work* and do what Jon ask ...you can see Dave and Phil look at Jon all the time 'tensed' making sure they go the right way and do the right thing ...
Richie was having fun on stage with Huey and the other band members (contagious amnesia or what ??) but right now he is not there and the IMPORTANT thing is to make it look like they are brothers and best buddies and have a major blast ...because that image is majorly cracked today .... not a comment made by me by checking on youtube ... I was there second row near the center for 4hours and 40 minutes under a persistent rain (we entered the pit 2 hours 20 minutes before they began) I could just SEE and feel the atmosphere on stage and off ...it was a good show (if you consider the awful weather) among the shows done without Richie Sambora.... I think the crowd though was not that much into it in the seats ... the ppl in the pit, were very enthusiastic, from Prague but also a lot from other countries around here ... hungary slovakia Russia Poland etc etc also plenty is Israel fans Spain fans and me ... I liked it actually and sang along what I didn't do at the first shows of the tour like Munich etc ...the more I go to shows the more I accept those Jon Bon Jovi and friends performances but this is NOT bon jovi ...the show in stuttgart made it obvious .. jon WANTED to go on and on and improvise spontaneously but he got the point and sort of left the stage frustrated :THEY CANNOT DO THAT AT ALL without Richie .... hate me ....I don't care

Again, a nice setlist. Now put in HAND and a proper ballad in the middle, like Always or BOR, a cover in Sleep, and no need to complain.
I was thinking of going to Prague because I love the city and have friends there, and I guess it'd have been worth it at all.

Oh, and two songs off of TD... we're heading in the right direction.

I want to hear Thierry's opinion about everything. I was in DC and the people were great here and the atmosphee was good but looking around, the people on seats were quite passive.

What the hell is wrong about Love's The Only Rulem It's on of the best songs of the last 13 years. I'd prefer Happy Now because I haven't seen it yet. It was a surprise and it was a great rendition.

And Thierry, why the didn't you contact me?

Still in a pub...
I don't have your number and the internet connection sucked balls in the hotel.

Worst audience ever they woke up during These Days. Weather sucked, Phil rocked - show was ok.

1. No. They're just genuinely enjoying themselves. Phil is loving it and maybe that's rubbing off on the rest of the band. Jon is having a great time clearly and David and Tico seem to be to. Oh, and the band CAN still be friends and love each other regardless of Richie's absence. They don't all of a sudden have a broken relationship.

2. Each review I've seen from you of each show mention that it's not the same without Richie. Can I ask...where the hell have you been and why bother going You are an active member of this board and therefore KNOW Richie is not there. The first show you went to I can understand you mentioning it, but really...anyone going to multiple shows and being surprised or disappointed when it's different without Richie should give their heads a shake.

Richie is not there. Phil X is. And he's good. He is enjoying it. Enjoy him.
