Ha ha ha...I think KathleenV posted it would be great if we could do something like that here in the states..and I thought to myself, we'd never manage to get the US audience to sit in their seats all at once for something like that unless they were paid ha ha ha!!

All of that work and they still couldn't get him to play New York City Serenade.

He's obviously saving that one for Rome next week. Since I will be there.

During that concert I thought that talk was staged, but watching it now it is weird how perception can change! You are right.

I saw that on the Bruce boards and loved it. And yeah - still no NYC Serenade. Which I might add gets played around here. Not frequently but it gets played.

Good point. I am of Italian descent. Maybe there's some super secret amazing organizational gene within me to figure something out. It will be a quest to make Jon cry in the U.S. Kudos to the Italian fans!!

I am not sure anything will top Udine. If I had gone to Milan, and we had started to plan the trip before surgery derailed me, I would have known that something was planned since I read the page that had all the details.

However, we barely got to the show in Udine on time and got the audio setup to tape just in time. There was no way in hell we expected a display such as we got, it came out of nowhere for us. It turned a show that we expected nothing out of, to the best one of the tour. It might not have had the best setlist of the tour (though it wasn't bad by any means and we got a portion of Lie to Me) but the energy and crowd participation was over the top. This will always be the one that I remember the best and I have seen some damn good ones.

And I will be so jealous as that show was part of the trip Paul and I planned and had to abandon. However I am still here to complain about it so it's not all bad LOL. Have a blast Emil.
