I know how you feel. I myself toyed with the idea of going to Spain to see Bruce in Gijon and then Bon Jovi in Madrid, as that'd be pretty much a dream come true for me and I had a foreign exchange student from Spain that I could've stayed with. It would've cost way too much, but it's frustrating knowing that you're probably not going to get another opportunity to see your two favorite bands in Europe at the same place at the same time again.

Hopefully I'll be able to cross this off my bucket list someday.

However, we barely got to the show in Udine on time and got the audio setup to tape just in time. There was no way in hell we expected a display such as we got, it came out of nowhere for us. It turned a show that we expected nothing out of, to the best one of the tour. It might not have had the best setlist of the tour (though it wasn't bad by any means and we got a portion of Lie to Me) but the energy and crowd participation was over the top. This will always be the one that I remember the best and I have seen some damn good ones.
I was actually in Italy for 3 weeks in 2011 but I arrived 2 weeks after they performed; couldn't get time off work before. Hopefully I will get another chance.

If I remember your trip report correctly, I think you had said that not everyone in your group went to the concert that night and had no idea what they were missing.

Can't wait to see more photos of the Milan concert.

Great to see that I was right a couple of months ago about Milan would have been THE place to see one show this tour around. Definitely the best set of the tour.

You're missing Born To Be My Baby in the opening post. This is the correct setlist:

I don't really have words right now or maybe ever to convey what it was like being there... All I know is it was worth all the waiting, all the camping out, all the pain in the butt (literally), all the tiredness, all the rain, all the wind, all the cold, all the hot, all the lack of sleep... EVERYTHING, and I would do it all over again starting right now.

Thank you, Kathleen. And may I add that we're all EXTREMELY glad for the fact that you're here to complain about it.

This will be my ninth Wrecking Ball show, but I'm still excited as ever, even though nothing will beat night 2 in Gothenburg last summer. This tour is just something else.

Cool

I really can't believe that this is happening 18 years later...

I really hope that they bring this to South America. This is for me the perfect ending for a Jovi show.
