I really hope that they bring this to South America. This is for me the perfect ending for a Jovi show.
So cool that he does this. But does he really think I Love This Town is in the same category as Bed Of Roses, I'll Be There For You, Blood On Blood, and This Ain't A Love Song?

I think he was going to play This Ain't A Love Song no matter what the crowd reaction was. He seems to have taken a liking to it again.

Exactly, that scene was of course a bit staged... For many reasons I knew it was going to be This Ain't A Love Song no matter what.

Anyway, I loved the crowd reaction to I Love This Town

I was at the show so I'll share my opinion.. I am from Croatia by the way.

This was my 3rd BJ show (2006 Munich - HAND Tour, 2011 Zagreb - Circle Tour, and now this)..
We all know that like some venues more than the others, for example, Munich will always get bigger setlist (by 3,4 songs) than the venues like Zagreb..

But this Milan show was amazing.. 30 songs! They played 3h10minutes show!

It is really hard to break Jon's routine (auto-pilot) after 30 years on tour, but we did it. We made him cry and he totally lost it during Because We Can..
At first he was impressed by the stadium itself, kept repeating how big it was and how amazing it looked.. Then BCW came.. The crowd kept getting louder and louder..

I was in 2nd ring and the acoustics of the stadium were just incredible. People were yelling and screaming like nowhere before..
They definitely didn't plan to come back 2 times even though they had audibles, but the crowd made them.. Jon knew he couldn't get away with average setlist and show after this kind of response from the crowd, he had to gave it all.

At one moment, he fell on his knees (I think it was after These Days and was like "There, what else do you want, this is the best from me, and the crowd still wanted more")..

Some mentioned empty Golden Circle sector.. Yes, it was half empty at the beginning and into 30-45 minutes of the show.. If you look at the videos of the songs from the middle of the set towards the end, you'll notice that it was full by the end..

Now, the reasons for GC being empty are these:
- Dealers: there was like 100 dealers in front of the stadium with bunch of tickets (and I didn't see anyone buying from them). Eventually they probably sold tickets under price when they saw that the show already started
- Italians - they are known for always being late to games, shows etc. By the time show started, a lot of people were just getting in the stadium..

All in all, amazing show, and I'm sure Jon will mention this show in future when he does interviews in USA..

The Golden Circle thing was a big f*ck up by the promoters: when they announced the show they said the GC area would have been smaller than usual (because of the stage being placed on the longer side of the stadium, leaving less space on the field). So, only a small amount of GC tickets was put on sale and they sold out in the first 30 minutes. But on the day of the show, they made the GC area too big.. so during the show they let in people from GA to fill it up.
