The acoustics weren't bad for every song. Some were just worse than others but a song like Blood Money sounded great, but most of you were probably in the front half of the stadium, whereas I was at the back in the top tier.

Highlights:

Bed Of Roses- One of my absolute faves and how they could play the TLFR version at times when they had the original tucked away in the locker room is beyond belief. The TLFR version doesn't even deserve to sit in the shadow of the original!

These Days- Brilliant, brilliant! Nuff said.

Damned- For pure shock value, this was great! Sounded fantastic too.

I'll Be There For You- Richie can sing this song forever, as far as I'm concerned! Admittedly, I've not heard Jon sing it yet, but as they say, if it ain't broke, don't fix it! Oh, wait a minute....

We Got It Goin' On- I enjoyed this one from the new songs the most. Just a fun, dumb song, but it definitely has a place in a live show. It really went over well with the crowd.

Sleep When I'm Dead- Surprisingly in my highlights, but the covers they ran in with this were fantastic and I felt that it is where the show went from a fairly 'typical' start to actually clicking into gear.

So all up, a great show. I've been to 4 shows in Europe so far, and Carli has been to each one that I have. For the record, they are Munich '06, Milton Keynes 1 & 2 '06 and Frankfurt '08. Needless to say, I've been bloody lucky so far, but to hell with it, long may it continue!!

As far as the sound aspect. For anyone who doesn't know/remember, I aspire to be a sound engineer and do a lot of live sound work. While I've obviously never worked in conditions and with equipment that's even in the universe of this show, I can say that in all my experience (and in everything I've ever read or studied) I've learned that there's only so much a sound engineer can do if the acoustics of a building suck.
