Back to normal now but had a blast at the show, yes it was set by numbers but it was a set that worked really well.
The programming of the songs worked but could have been better the energy of the crowd dropped off when Whole lot of leaving was played,So somethig more uptempo at that point would have sustained the levels.Love is the Only rule -Rocks live..Richie doing Lay your hands on me worked better than I thought It would as everyone stayed and sang along..The downtempo segment of the show was brilliant and in the arena made it feel more intamit.
Work for the Working man is just Aweful-tacky annoying song and live its even worse those visuals just looked like Pet Shop Boys --Go west video gone wrong. And when the band done their little 4 man shimmy towards each other it was cringly bad(boy band stuff)
This was follwed by Who says at which poit I decided if i stayed it might wreck my mood so went for a beer. After the alriiiiiiiights were finished the show kicked off again and it rocked.
Jon was full of energy his voice was outstanding and the show was entertaining even if the robot screens malfunctioned for a bit.
Just going by setlists gives you no real idea of the shows though I think we have come to understand this for 2010
Going mad I cannot go to more this time around but roll on 2011.
