Well I'm kinda glad I didn't drive three hours for that...

Aloha !

I think it's becoming pretty obvious that Jon really doesn't give a shit about what the crowd wants to hear and is only there to please himself.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

The only consolation I can vaguely cling on to is the fact that apparently I'll Be There For You wasn't the acoustic/TLFR version.

The only hope I have for London on Monday night is that they probably wont play the same shit setlist 3 nights in a row... and the potential is there for them to switch it up.

Although after a week of the Canadian tour im not getting my hopes up.

Oh well.... still SOMEWHAT excited to see the band

I don't see how anyone can say Jon isn't playing what anyone wants to hear. I spent two weeks watching the Jersey shows and a setlist like last nights raised the roof. Like it or not, WGIGO goes over well live, BTBMB no matter how long it's in there has the crowd singing along. SOML does very well live and provides one of "those" moments of interaction between Jon and Richie that alot of fans love.

From someone that was there I got that IBTFY was not TLFR, it was Jon doing the vocals , Richie doing backup in a suedo acoustic version of the original. Bobby played the guitar solo, since Richie was out in the arena with Jon. Apparently, the crowd loved it. I got to see Jon sing this one in Jersey and was so surprised when he did the vocals since it's been Richies song for so long now. It was very cool and done well.

I also understand that this stage is being put away after Canada is over and there will be a new one either for Japan or by the time the next US arena leg starts. I suspect that with the new stage will come a new set of in and out songs. I do think that throughout the duration all seventy or eighty songs the band rehearsed before Jersey will make an appearance, some not often, but I do think they will get played somewhere. If you look at the big picture, Jon has six or seven months of shows left to do, he's not likely to pull all the surprises out of the bag this soon. Europe always gets different songs than North America, I don't know why anyone would think any differently now.
