A.Jon Bon Jovi is a decent actor. Better than most musicians who've tried.
B.Lost Highway isn't NEARLY as bad as you're making out to be. Is it one of their best. No. But there are 4 or 5 pretty damn good songs on it. If you can't deal with a change in musical style, then go see Van Halen 12 times on this tour. You're guarenteed to get no diversity from them.

I can name only one"damn good" song: Any other day. Full Stop. Would've been an awesome one-track-single!
Better no change in musical style and an "all killers and no fillers" show. In the end the fans want to hear classic songs. VH havent played the old songs for ages as Sammy Hagar didn't feel comfortable with them. Iron Maiden is doing a tour in 2008 only with songs up to 1988. Metallica hardly play any songs after 1991 right now. What's wrong with that? Just because you can say "We changed" ignore the old songs and play just the "better" new ones. (or in BJ's case even slaughter the old songs with "great" new versions) No way!
And when JBJ says that LH is the best song he has ever written (which I hope he really did not say!!!!) then this is an insult to his old (really classy) songs!

vh and bjovi are my 2 fav bands of all time.
But lets get something straight here,nobody can take vh serious these days.
They havent had a decent cd since 1995 and they have had 3 different singers.
Eddie always talked abt how all he wanted to do was work,sure Ed,you've done nothing the last 10 years while bon jovi have worked there asses off.
I have no respect for Vh,A drunk guitar player with a vocalist whos nothing compared to what he was all that time ago.
The bass player is gone and then you have avh whos at leat half decent.
Sure the tour is going well but it will be over soon,while Bon Jovi continue to sell out shows all over the world.
Lets see how well vh and david lee roth do in Europe.
I know one thing,altho lost highway isnt everybodys thing,the tour will probably go down as one of there most successful.

Have to disagree here. Roth sings better than back in the day as he is concentrating on singing instead of jumping around. EVH is a lazy guy thats true but better lazy than releasing sub-par albums and destroying old songs in a live show.The BJ tour is selling SLOWWWWW in Europe. After all he is still an amazing player and he doesnt need a sidekick cause he cant pull it off anymore.
For all German BJshows only the Front of Stage tickets are sold out - otherwise every category is available. I think that wont be their most successful but least successful tour for ages in Europe. In Europe people think and listen (unlike the US where are mainly blind followers who never criticize anything)
