I asked about that. Evidently they took it off when they left the stage, but it's back. I was afraid he'd broken it over someone's noggin!

I would assume that Jon's white mic stand died a noble death - or he's using something else. Perhaps a short that blew out the speakers?

yeah something happened but good to hear it's back .... (on some canada tv (the one interview done by catherine from toronto) Mike Rew said they have 2 white mic stands .... so even if one died... there is still another one ..phewwww

I didnt get the RIP tweet either...

maybe it's another white mic stand? But you couldn't tell...
well, I'm happy everything is fine again...

but I think the only RIP its for the tech sound guy...
