Ah well, at least Jon has done a song that doesn't get played that much. Hopefully it's a sign of things to come. Glad to see Always is still getting played too.
I didn't think it was the band. I just thought his guitar wasn't working properly.

They do love us

They didn't give us "I love this town" which I admit is not one of my favs, and they did give me Living in Sin - which I was excited about the minute my sis told me they soundchecked it. I haven't heard it live since, I believe, 2001 Grand Rapids when they played 7 songs from the NJ album.

They also gave me 2 cover songs, which I love when they do. (I think they are remarkable when they do cover songs, they do them as well as their own. I would rather hear Jumpin Jack Flash by Jovi, then by anyone else.) It takes me back to my first Bon Jovi concert, when they did Drift Away a capella... ahhh they sweet melting of their voices as they ended the show... eargasm

So in my mind, that says, WE LOVE YOU COLUMBUS!!

At the end mate. Just before Chapel of Love it sounds like the band say 'Living In Sinnn' one more time than they should of and Jon turns around and stares and then shakes his head. Could be wrong, though.

10,000th post. Wowzer!

Yeah, it was because they gave him 2 different guitars, and neither worked - I think the first was wireless, and the second was wired. So he finally gave up and just sang the song with no guitar.
The tech ran to the back to try to fix them, and came back partway thru the song, but by that time Jon was resigned to singing guitarless.

No, I think you're right. I hadn't watched it all the way through.

Jon is such a prick. His voice has been horrendous this whole tour, he's constantly out of breath and off key, he needs a teleprompter to remember lyrics of songs he has sung over 30 years, and yet when the band makes a mistake he wants to make sure that everybody in the house knows how pissed off he is because of that.

Yeah, I saw him look back at the stage, but if that's what we're complaining about Jon being a prick for we're reaching far too hard.

I agree that it is a bit too far. Although, Jon needs to realise that the band are the ones sounding decent and his vocals aren't on this occasion. He made the song sound terrible, certainly not the extra 'Living In Sin' the band did.

Posting for Dave, as he's on his second course of antibiotics for a sinus infection that just won't quit...

We just finished mastering the complete HD Living in Sin video from last nights show. It's pretty much gorgeous & stunning. It is currently at @51% rendered into a progressive internet, internet-friendly version for YouTube. It has @9 mins left on the render, then will take @ an hour to upload to YouTube. You will clearly be able to see the band did not sing an extra line, Jon was actually directly the band with his hands, and looked back at the stage smiling at the band. He doesn't even step up to the mic until milliseconds before he starts singing the Chapel of Love part. Jon seemed a little fidgety during the later part of the song where he has no singing for about a minute, and he had no guitar to strum along.
The guitar tech actually hand him his favorite Takamine acoustic with the "AP" twice - the first time it had the wireless rig, and the second time it was corded. The actual problem, at least on the 2nd go round seemed to be in Jon's monitor mix, as you can clearly hear his tentative strumming in the house mix.
Will post the vid link as soon as it goes live

A pic of the setlist is up on bj.com: Just Older was planned in the encore after Make a Memory but was dropped for Wanted (which was supposed to be played in the main set). Hey God and These Days were audibles.
