I really enjoyed when Last Man Standing opened the U.S. shows a few years back....but don't see that happening again.

I Believe would also be very cool!

I am basically fine with the current set list they have been using the past week or two - was just in Cleveland a week ago and it worked pretty well. I was glad that WWWB was not in the set that night. They did it in Pittsburgh, as well as during previous shows I have seen, and I just can't for the life of me enjoy that song. I know a lot of people here do...so maybe it's just me!

I think the tour got off to a very rough start, but the difference in performance, set list, crowd response from the Pittsburgh show on Feb 21 and the Cleveland show on March 9 was staggering...so the tweaks they are making are the right ones. Pittsburgh normally has a crazy response to BJ, so I was shocked this time around that so many people were talking and leaving for extended periods (either during the new material or when the songs were 'slower' for 3-4 in a row). They are headed in the right direction and I hope to catch another U.S. date to see how they continue to refine.

Worst first leg i can remember...
From what've I've read and seen, it's the worst first leg ever. Apart from a few exceptions, Jon's voice is in terrible shape, he's bored on stage, the sets are uninspired and there are no surprises at all.

And exactly how many of these shows have you been to?

I have to disagree. I think Jon has never looked so uncomfortable on stage than on this tour. All his moves look very learned and all in all he seems kind of shy to me. At least in this Cleveland show he didn't seem relaxed at all. Only at the end of the show he started to look like himself; this arrogant bastard.

I really think that after the HAND tour he realized that he is an old man and that he has to get rid of his blond hair and he cannot jump and dance on the stage like a teenager... And that's why he feels uncomfortable when he has to let go of his acoustic or micstand...

Btw i know i'm right

Considering they are so against being a nostalgia act, that was a greatest hits set. Nothing rare and the new songs could have been easily removed and they could tour that every year as a nostalgia band. I do not think there has been much for die-hard fans on this leg, very geared towards the casual, group of friends night out at a Bon Jovi concert audience.

Now that I live in Argentina I will get one chance to see them if they come here. I simply do not want a set like that, and it kind of worries me, I hope they kick on as the tour progresses otherwise I may as well just pop on the greatest hits.

None. But I've been to enough Bon Jovi shows which allow me to judge a show by reading reviews and watching some videos.

Take a look at the Penn State webcast and the Lisbon Webcast from the Circle Tour. If you are a casual fan, you might not notice the differences, but any die-hard who watches that can tell that Lisbon was awesome and Penn State was shit. And it was.

I don't get all that "You weren't there to say it was good or not" thing. I don't know about you, but I'm not the kind of fan that gets happy just for being in the same building with Bon Jovi for 2,5 hours. The vast majority of videos of this tour (again - with few exceptions) show a completely bored and cold JBJ hiding behind his guitar. And I know that, if I get a show like this, I will be bored to death.

So, I've been to ZERO shows this tour, but I can tell that the perfomances are going downhill.

I will say this again...the set list reflect the audience being played to...they are in the US. I have absolutely NO doubt that they will change once the arenas in the US are done. As far as performance of the songs played, I've seen this band over 100 times, I've been to 3 shows on this leg, and I just don't see all the doom and gloom. I found the shows all quite good from a performance standpoint and better than a lot of The Circle Tour, US shows

Exactly, Deb. A "completely bored and cold JBJ hiding behind his guitar" couldn't be further from the truth.

I totally get where you're coming from. But I have noticed (almost) everyone who has been to show has become less critical of the set lists. I too will stop giving them a hard time unless of course they bring back wftwm the show wasn't perfect. I have never been to a show with as many high spots and low spots. But every show can't be Lisbon 2011... I wish it could but I got TWTWMM, the new KTF outro, BOR, and Always, plus 22 other song... 2/3 I enjoyed.

Okay I wrote a 2 page single spaced review last night... I'll cut it down to something more appropriate and post it in a little while.
