If he is suffering from back problems and is in pain, why is he is playing almost 3 hours every night ??

Sorry, but I think he's not sick, but simply doesn't give a **** anymore.

As long as people keep shelling out money to see the same show over and over, I doubt much will change.

It's so clear that this tour is just a money-grabbing method. The interview posted about this record being done almost by Jon himself and that Tico refused to go back in the studio in 2011 it's a big hint, don't you think ?

Shows in America are still sold out, so Jon knows that whatever sh** he does on stage is enough to keep them coming back. In Europe and South America this doesn't work anymore: None of the shows in Brazil were sold out (don't say that Sao Paulo was sold out because it was not, I know people who bought tickets on the same day as the show and there were lots of space available at the back of the GA area), and many shows in Europe were like 60-80% full.

I wonder if the americans will still come back next tour, judging by the horrendous crap this tour is so far.

Well, all the reviews I've read so far were not as positive as you say. And a lot of fans who are going to the shows are saying that Jon looks bored to death on stage.

The official reports may end up showing that these U.S. shows were sold out, but tickets are NOT hard to get. The packages must not be selling well, because they're breaking out pit tickets much earlier than on the last tour. Friends who have upgraded have had terrible luck trying to sell their original tickets. They've been slashing the prices and still haven't had any luck getting rid of them.
