Aloha !

Predictions, disappointments, reviews and rants about this show go in this topic.

I'm predicting that they're going to give something extra like they did in Chicago. Wild Is The Wind again?

1. Glad All Over

2. Lost Highway
3. You Give Love A Bad Name
4. Raise Your Hands
5. Captain Crash And The Beauty Queen From Mars
6. I'll Sleep When I'm Dead / Land of 1000 Dances
7. The Radio Saved My Life Tonight
8. Summertime
9. Blood Money

10. Blaze Of Glory
11. Whole Lotta Leavin'
12. Born To Be My Baby
13. We Got It Goin' On
14. It's My Life
15. Bad Medicine / Shout
16. I'll Be There for You (Richie Sambora on lead vocals)
17. (You Want To) Make A Memory
18. Till We Ain't Stangers Anymore
19. Who Says Ya Can't go Home
20. Have a Nice Day
21. Keep The Faith
22. Livin' On A Prayer

Encore:
23. Hallelujah
24. Wanted Dead Or Alive
25. I Love This Town

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

It's about time that they play (It's Hard) Letting You Go. I really don't see the point in soundchecking all those somewhat rare songs if they never play them anyway.

Philadelphia is in the Eastern time zone. That's GMT -5 hours. Daughtry should go on at 12:30 AM GMT, and Jovi about an hour later.

(And I'll vote for (It's Hard) Letting You Go, too! It really did sound good at soundcheck in Chicago. I was stunned when it dawned on me what I was hearing and that it was LIVE. I listen to the old stuff so much that it didn't seem odd to be hearing it . . . until I remembered where I was!)

If they were going to pull out those songs then it would have been at the Pru. A 10 gig run and the chance to play some rare stuff knowing that some fans would be back night after night. Missed opportunity I think. Instead the fans got:

Bounce
Living in sin
Blaze of glory
These days (Richie)
Stranger in this town (Richie)
Lay your hands on me
Joey
Last man standing
Bells of freedom
I'll be there for you

Now on the face of it they are all good inclusions but I think after a 10 night run that is a poor return to be honest. The fans would have gone crazy for 'Get ready' or 'In & out of love' or 'Silent night' or 'Edge of a broken heart' or 'Wild is the wind' or 'Homebound train' or 'If I was your mother' or ' Dry county' or 'Always' or 'Hey god' or 'Something for the pain' or 'Damned' or 'Real life' or 'Next 100 years' or 'Say it isn't so' or 'Neurotica' or 'One wild night' or 'Undivided' or 'Hook me up' etc, etc, etc.

There is no reason why they couldn't have mixed it up more.

Good choices but safe rather than exciting IMO.

I'd be happy for its hard letting you go to make an appearance and for them to bring it over to europe for a couple of shows, maybe living in sin could make an appearence tonight.. only time will tell

It's Hard Letting You Go sounded great, I believe in South Africa. I believe that's the version I have. In America, few and far between would "get it".

I agree with you. Just mentioning that they also played Right Side Of Wrong at the Pru.
