Hope it got the reception it deserves, even from the Jonny Bonny groupies.
Oh, there's respect oozing out of my every pore for the guy right now.

Richie got a fine reception and I think anything that he wanted to sing would have been fine. I didn't see any mass exodus for beer at any time during the show.
No mass beer runs? Excellent! Good job, Philly.

There was a noticeable difference in Chicago between the night that Richie did IBTFY and the night he did Stranger. MANY more people left during Stranger. (IDIOTS.) I so hope that songs like Wild Is The Wind and Blood Money aren't met with that reaction which might put the guys off from doing them again. Back during the Prudential run, I kind of wondered if that's what happened with Living In Sin. They did it on night 3, and it didn't get a huge reaction. They didn't play it again at the Rock, and finally pulled it out late during the Canadian leg.

you know, the one and only time I've heard Richie do stranger was at a glasgow stadium in 96 and the crowd reaction was awesome. Nobody new the words but nobody cared.

Saying that, every guitar solo he pulled out that night got so much applause that even jon ended up applauding him at one point.

When Richie sang Stranger at Giants Stadium in 2001 - there was a mass exodus for a bathroom and beer break. It was very noticable. So he sang IBTFY on the Bounce tour and it went over just fine. Apparently even singing These Days didn't work too well for him (I loved it) and he is back to IBTFY.

I am so much the opposite. If Richie opens his mouth to sing - or if he is playing - you wouldn't get me to move with a bomb LOL

Blood Money got a pretty good reception where I was, had people next to me who didn't know it but when they saw those of us that did recognize it going crazy they just joined in, it was a good place to put it in the set as the setup for Blaze it works there where it might not work as well elsewhere in the set.
