Another pointless review. He goes into great detail about how he needed the show, meaning he's completely biased, meaning his review isn't about the show but about how he experienced it, as opposed to what the show was really like. He also praises things about Bon Jovi that he previously slammed, making his reviews even harder to take in.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

And honestly, if they pull out a set like this one, I won't have any regrets. I hate Blood on Blood as an opener. I hate I Love This Town in the encore (or anywhere for that matter.) And I hate the fact that of the 4 new songs off the GH, they keep skipping the best one. And most of all, I hate Jon's "scripted spontaneity".

Woah, a lot of hates? You got one of the best, most spontaneous setlists of the tour and you complain because of the length? Hell, 90% of the bands there play no longer than a 16 or 17 song setlist, some shorter. I think it really is time for you to have a break from the band.

Agreed. A lot of members from this board would have loved to have been at that show for the spontaneity and rareness and overall un-autopilot performance turned in by Jon.

I'm not blaming the band for the shortness of the set. That's all on the venue. I'm simply stating that I refuse to pay twice as much money for a show 30% shorter. Makes no sense. As I stated before, it was a great show, despite the length.

The problem is, it's become a crap shoot as to which night Jon feels it or not. And the nights that he doesn't feel it and writes up a vanilla show, I'm just bored with. It's a $250 gamble that I'm not willing to take anymore. I love the fact that he seems to be mixing things up a bit here and there, but Chicago night #1 would bore me to tears.
