Great to see Bed of Roses get a decent rotation. It disappeared for a while there.

Like I usually say, Always and Bed of Roses should be played every show, or at least one of them.

Does anyone know if the Chicago concerts have been filmed for a new Bon Jovi DVD?

Probably not ...
When they film a DVD they announce it.

That was a rumor before the shows but it doesn't seem to be fact. As stated previously, when they film a show they make sure everyone knows it.

Anyone who attended these shows could say if they were warned about filming as it's required.

From the moment I heard the opening notes to Prayer, I had a feeling that I was going to enjoy this show more than the previous night. I think it's almost unnecessary to play Prayer as the opener because the crowd will go crazy no matter what they play here, but I like it in this spot, and most of all I was happy that there would be at least one different song in the encore. The band wasn't necessarily any more "on fire" than night #1, but overall, I liked the set better, and they threw in a few extras. We got the extended version of Lost Highway, with Jon spinning around on stage with the guitar like a madman. I thought this was really cool when I saw clips from O2, and it was great to see live. Blaze was at least something different, and as ususal, the crowd sang along in full voice. The More Things Change is in the set to stay. Jon has his whole rant down pat about Justin Bieber, Lady GaGa, etc. They did a nice job with the song and even the casual fans seemed into it. It has been well documented here that We Got It Goin On just plain works well live, and this was no exception. The crowd ate it up. Loved hearing Diamond Ring. Jon and Richie's harmonies were spot on. Work for the Working . . . oh, never mind. After night #1, honestly I was hoping for at least one of Always, Dry County, or In These Arms in the encore. I wasn't at MSG, so there was no reason for them to "shake it up" in my opinion. Dry County is a masterpiece. Richie was fantastic. Thrilled to get In These Arms since they didn't play it at either Soldier Field show last summer. When they took their "final bow" and Jon made a hand gesture like "one more?", I had a good feeling for Always. I'm sure someone will be able to dissect some Youtube video and point out flaws. For me, this was one of Jon's strongest Always performances that I've seen in awhile. I always tell my non-Jovi fan friends that I'm going to see the greatest live rock n' roll band on the planet. And last night, they were.
