Jon just got a pair of garden sheers to Phil X's hair and declared - "smarten up your image you long haired hoolie".

Phil X then stormed off the stage and proceeded to announce that he is out of the tour for "personal reasons".

Jon hires Noel Gallagher for the rest of the tour.

Am I the only one who would be really interested in this? Though I don't think Noel Gallagher would touch Bon Jovi with a thirty-nine-and-a-half-foot pole.

No, he is a shockingly bad guitarist in a band that was built on amazing song writing, charisma and muddy sound engineering.

Yeah ok. Harsh. But he's about as good as Jon. No dynamism to his playing at all. Just the same simple pentatonic lead playing. Boring.

The difference is that he's aware of it and has given up on writing guitar solo's, where as Jon seems to think he's gotten better over time and has started doing more of them. Noel knows guitars as well.

Exactly. Noel's songs may not be complex or have mindblowing guitar solos and licks, but they work and they're damn fun to play, I might add.

I can't imagine that the show was only 90 minutes. I'm sure the set would be pretty close to the one they got in Cape Town.
