People want to hear hits, not raraties. Thats the consensus I got by this clip. On this occasion Jon played it correctly - really long concert with all the hits. DOnt get me wrong, i'd be a little deflated if this was at Villa Park next month. Dry County, Always and the cover songs made it into an ok setlist.
Yeah I know. That's why I said if you had never see the band before it would be a great set.

The point is though, that a lot of the "rarities" in Bon Jovi setlists WERE hits.

These Days, This Ain't A love Song, Everyday, Misunderstood, Say it isn't So, Thank You For Loving Me, One Wild Night, Dry County and even Hey God in some regions was a hit.

But instead JBJ plays new stuff that weren't hits.

I don't care if they play for 6 hours, ending with ILTT/T&S is so lame. Neither were Bon Jovi hits so where's the logic?

They should close the show with a 30th song, and that's called THESE DAYS!
They haven't performed any song of These Days as an album so far. I hope they'll start doing it as long as they reach Europe, so I hope that in Sofia, These Days will be played or at least This Ain't A Love Song, I like the setlist and I hope will be like that in Sofia but instead of Twist & Shout let them add These Days! Damn...

Aaaargh, not fair they got Runaway and Blood on Blood, stomps feet, and goes and sulks in a corner. But actually other than that personally for me I preferred the Cape Town set.

Agreed,, after Always in Cape Town, when it became clear that they were going to sing another song, all I was thinking was please please please don't sing I Love this town to end!

Just changing a couple of songs makes this a much better set... also enough hits for the casuals.

Pretty ok setlist for the first stop in JB in 18 years.

Of course I expect more from Munich in a week. Not sure if they attempt "These Days" though with Phil X, but "Hey God" would be cool.

It sounds a lot better too than during the American leg. I just watched Faith from Johannesburg, that was really epic .

These Days was on the setlist for Los Angeles but was scrapped.
