How sad. I'm sure he feels terrible as he apologized multiple times. I'm also sure he has been taking allergy medicine throughout - sometimes those allergies are killer. His nose was really red in the videos.

Well, this wasn't so bad. People are saying that he lost his voice after Bed of Roses , and couldn't even sing Born to Follow properly. Anyone managed to find any clips of this song ?

Some things about this:

1: The new stage is epic!
2: Jon's voice was bad since the beginning. We can hear David as high as Jon.

You really have to respect Jon for his effort here. To do such a long concert in such pain is really outstanding. I hope it can improve for the rest of the tour.

It must be said though, this tour is truly cursed in some shape or form. What next ?

The problem for singers suffering from allergies is that what the common allergy medication (Anti-histamine) does is actually dry you up to minimize mucous production in the respiratory tract, and as a result it also dries up your vocal folds (cords), making it difficult to impossible for them to do what they're supposed to do during singing.
Now add that to the fact that Jon's folds don't work as well as they used to anyway, and you have a potential disaster on hand. I hope he recovers quickly and gets back to kicking ass.

I missed all the fun at work today huh? Sounds like this show would have been a mess even with Richie though. Honestly, I feel for Jon. As much of a dick as he can be, to have Mother Nature come in and screw with his voice (that's already in bad shape) must suck. FTR, for those talking about him taking meds, most hay fever meds would probably dry out his chords.
