You knew what the stage was going to be going in and you knew there was going to be no Richie. You still have the option of returning the tickets for the 18 European shows you purchased. People are WAY too over dramatic.
I think the problem is that everyone sort of expected the shows to improve vastly, just cause they're in Europe. The real test will be Saturday, if Munich gets an autopilot two hour show, then I think it will be an indication of how the tour will pan out. No doubt I'll get accused of being dramatic there too!

Have to say that David's back vocals are REALLY loud. They're almost as high as Jons in the chorus.

Good to hear it, they're not usually too high in the mix which sucks, but now with Richie gone they've finally decided to turn his mic up. Sounds good.

I have waited for ages for them to finally come to my homeland for the first time. Only heaven knows when (and If at all) we will ever get a second BJ show in the future and you are telling me that shit happens? ?? Get lost!

We packed the stadium, there were 50 000+ fans screaming, shouting and rocking as if there were no tomorrow. I cannot describe how happy we were to see our favourite band for the first time ever. We DID NOT DESERVE this......Now Jon has posted on Facebook how he would do everything he can NOT to let this happen in Vienna and other cities. I wish him all the best. Yet, this doesn't work for me.

As odd as this is for me to type... I agree with panda. The stage was already known, richie not being there wasn't a surprise, ect. Jon obviously had a pretty messed up issue going on. Calm down and move on. It doesn't "set the tone" for anything, there is no secret richie meaning behind Jon's allergies, it doesn't mean he doesn't care and thinks he can get away with BS, that's all there is to it. Some of you legit weird me out with how easily you freak out over things and twist them into crazy nonsense.

I understand your frustration, but seriously... Should he have cut his balls off and offered them up to the audience in sacrifice or something?

Jon is human prayer_94. But by your posts it doesn't seem you recognize that. Be thankful they could make a stop in your "hometown" shit DOES happen, and you choose how you want to deal with it. Try having some sympathy for the dude.. Night in night out they play their asses off (usually) and for once in a blue moon something went down with Jon and all you can think about is yourself? You should be the one getting lost. But perhaps you've already lost it.

If you check my reviews of the 2010 and 2011 concerts I went, you'll see that I was very satisfied with it, because those were good shows (except for Dusseldorf. I even enjoyed Zurich 2011, which had a very bland setlist).

You don't need to look hard for bad things at the moment: there are bad things all over the place:

1. Richie is not there
2. Bobby's been killing the songs (more than he usually does)
3. The sets have been static and pretty vanilla night after night
4. Jon can't sing (Don't blame the alergies, he's been bad since the Mohegun show. There wasn't a single song that he performed decently on this tour)
5. The number of new songs went down to 3. (Even if you hate the new record, they are touring the record).
6. Except for some moments here and there (Saturday night from the webcast show was awesome), on most shows the band is going through the motions on stage.

You don't have to look hard to see all of the above.

Sounds very good! Hopefully it is as loud in other songs too.
