My opinion/feelings about the concert:

Positive:
+ 3 hours 10 minutes
+ Jon, David and Tico in a fantastic mood
+ In these Arms (David first verse)
+ Rocking all over the world as a Cover (I like that song a lot)
+ Phil X solo at KTF, jamming with David

Negative:
- Richie missing
- average setlist except the encores
- too many Lost Highway songs
- Jon didn't use the walkway in the middle of the show
- Jon didn't come to the left side of the walkway at all
- Phil X messed up These Days
- two chainsmoker next to us

First of all I'd like to point out that I am not a Richie die-hard fan.
Phil X might tried his best, but for me his style doesn't fit to the songs (especially the older ones). As far as I can judge he is a really good guitar player, but he plays the songs without any emotion. These Days, Dry County, Wanted, Always and Bed of Roses almost sounded like a bad cover band.

I missed Richie from the first to the last second of this concert.
The magic wasn't there this time although Jon certainly worked hard and did everything to make the crowd happy.

Please don't get me wrong, I really enjoyed the show. I simply didn't and don't have this overwhelming feeling which I was used to have weeks after the concert.
Nethertheless, a 3 h and 10 minutes concert is nothing to complain about. Jon, David, Tico and Hugh made the best out of the situation. They totally rocked the stadium. I really hope Richie will be back soon! (Give me something to believe in )

I agree. They are a really nostalgia-centric band live.

You usually bring top tier english but that sentence plain sucks

I don't think the last setlist is sad and if it gets better from there they could easily become great sets. Just needs a little tweaking on the main set.

That's what happens when the first thing I do when I wake up is post in this forum. At that time in the morning I can even mess up a sentence in spanish

Default Less people showing up every time.

According to the news regarding the venue change in Berlin, the band drew 62 000 fans in Munich last Saturday. Compared to 2011's 68 000 and 2008's 70 000, is there anything to worry about?

P.S. I don't know the exact figures for the concerts in 2001, 2003 and 2006, but I can bet that each of them had in excess of 70 000 fans.

Well it is their strongest city in Europe - in 2003 there were even 80.000.
So it s going downhill even there....

Aloha !

With every subsequent tour Bon Jovi has been drawing fewer and fewer people at concerts all over Europe. There's a reason they're playing cities like Gdansk, Lisbon and Sofia nowadays; those cities make up for the tickets they can no longer sell in Germany and the U.K.. Considering how Holland used to get a show every tour yet is now being ignored due to low expectations for ticket sales and Cologne now being the closest show to home, whereas there used to be 3 shows to pick from within this area I think it's fair to say they overestimated their own capabilities.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

just watched thats what the water made me from the shows, it needs moved on the set!!

great beat song and glad to see Phil seemingly enjoying himself but for me, doesnt work as the opener as it has that part that makes it die when Jon starts singing, then it has to get back up again. Dont mind it as encore opener in the dark, loads of lighting effects etc but just stick with Blood on Blood or raise your hands as an opener.

also, what is the point of the huge screen behind the bumper which you cannot see from the expensive seats?!

So that the people without the ridiculously overpriced tickets can enjoy the show too.
