Why wouldn't they just leave the show if it's too depressing for them without without Richie?

That is, if the crying comment is accurate. These girls could've just said they were disappointed and down the line it turned into them actually shedding tears.

Reminds of me what I posted in another thread about that U2 gig where the fans/psychos all sat down in the gold circle (it was a heart shape), backs turned holding hands to form a 'hole in the heart' and crying all because they didn't get front row. Some people are just nuts.
