Phil has a great energy about him and he's a stellar player with flare. I got such a kick out of watching Tico watch Jon and taking his cues from every movement Jon made. Billy Falcon opened the show and he was really good. He sounded much better than he did in Atlanta in 1994. BTW he said he'd be opening in Norway. All in all, it was a great show and it was different from Atlanta so I'm pleased. There are some songs that I know I'll always have to put up with and I don't let that ruin the show for me. They're not BAD even if I am tired of them. Jon is the best performer I've ever seen. He astounds me every time I see him. He sounds so good and puts on such a physical show. I'm in awe. I wish I was going to St. Louis.
Thank you for the review Becky. Glad you enjoyed the show!!

We hope - as long as things went well That is one I'm looking forward to hearing live. I've seen the play a few times, as has Terri, but the lead singer doesn't do as good a job as David does.

I'd say Jon has officially thrown the towel in on this leg of the tour.

I am literally GREEN with envy they got Memphis Lives In Me but also happy that at least this was vanilla with whip cream and sprinkles.

I am going to go INSANE until I see the Youtube. I love Memphis the musical and that is my favorite song from it. I wonder how the crowd reacted - hard to believe but most Americans have no clue what Memphis is even though it won 4 Tony's.

I got WFWM and they got MLM - wow not hard to see who won on THAT lol

I saw Bob Seger last night, he's 66, not promoting an album(suppose to have one out though this summer). Grant you this was in Detroit, his hometown. If my memory serves me well, he was never one to run around the stage much, but always put on a high energy show. Nothing was different about that last night.

25 songs, Tuesday night they got 24. He is also doing a show Saturday night, this I found interesting, he has a night off between each show.

I nosed myself into a conversation with some sitting by me. He has been averaging 24 songs. They have a Seger fan forum, they do PBP's(someone asked about other fans doing this the other day).

I looked at this forum briefly this morning. They count themselves as 1% of the fans. They do some griping about the setlist being the same. He changed 2 songs in the setlist from Tuesday night and added 1. More on the forum seemed to be from Michigan, but fans do travel to see him.

Other observation, his voice has gone down a bit, but not as much as Jon's. But then he took 11 years off, and since he started back, he has not toured the amount that Bon Jovi has. With that, I still think Jon did an excellent job on "Turn the Page" in Toronto and Chicago.

^Err, I completely missed the point of that post.

Can't wait to hear Memphis. It's definitely one of my favorites.
